Communication with Viator was very difficult - we didn't know if our ride was confirmed until the last minute and only did so through our hotel manager who was able to assist. Our driver was very safe, although aggressive on the windy road, making my husband very sick. Also, there was very little communication during the drive - it would have been nice to know some info about the towns we went through on the 6.5 hour drive. We flew back and would recommend that.
Perfect Drive through the Jungle and Mountains to the Beach

Our driver, "Nacho", arrived perfectly on time and even came up to our hotel room to help bring our 3 suitcases down to load into the car. He was very professional and friendly. He was a gentleman who always opened the door for my wife, and he was courteous throughout our entire trip. The vehicle was very nice, extremely clean, and spacious, hand sanitizer was provided. Nacho was a very safe driver and made us feel comfortable throughout our long trip. He also was very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas, and it was obvious he had driven this trip many times and knew the roads and terrain very well. Never at any point did we feel unsafe. The drive was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. At one point, we were above the clouds! The mountains are stunning, lush and green, with gorgeous flora and fauna everywhere, and the air was crisp, clean, and cool. There was air condition used for most of the trip, but driving through the mountains, it was not necessary, and it was so nice to breathe the mountain air! We stopped for a coffee and pastry mid-way at a nice place with clean restrooms. Nacho really took the stress out of what could be a stressful trip due to the distance and winding roads. We arrived at the beach safe and sound with no issues and got to see a very beautiful part of Mexico driving from Oaxaca City through the jungle and mountains that not many people ever get to experience! I highly recommend this company for this drive!

We are from America and our driver was fluent in English, which helped. It wasn't necessary but it was a nice tough. He was on-time, easy to communicate with and overall very knowledgeable of the area and roads. The drive to Puerto Escondido is through the mountains so very windy but our driver did a superb job managing the roads and our needs. Highly recommend!
