Overview

Discover the Lake Atitlan area on this half-day ATV adventure. First, head to San Antonio Palopo via the road that runs around the lake. There, visit a local ceramic factory to learn about the production process and also stop by a chocolate factory. Following that, travel to the village of Santa Catarina Palopo where you'll be able to learn about and see the weaving of blankets, and other goods. Lastly, head to Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya for some photo opps by the water.

This was such a fun way to spend my morning! I learned a fair amount on the tour that I wouldn’t have otherwise and definitely saw areas I wouldn’t have visited had it not been for this tour. My guide gave me recommendations for things to do during the rest of my stay and entertained my banter. If you’re looking to see Pana in a unique way I recommend it!

This was the most fun I have had in Guatemala!! Yoshua was an incredible guide: helpful, kind, always making sure we were safe, and full of knowledge. Excellent experience. Our guide (Joshua?) was fantastic. Kind, funny, and happy to please. He has great English and all of the stops were excellent! One of the best things we did in Guatemala. Joshua was also considerate of everyone's safety and clearly takes his job seriously. Thanks for a fun time for our whole family!

Amazingggg timeee! This tour has it all culture cooler chocolate and zing bar at the end with Guatemalan moonshine 😂 our guide was knowledgeable fun and attentive hands on with the pottery and chocolate tours and knew almost as much as the presenters ! It was my birthday and they made sure I enjoyed it to the fullest

Had the most amazing time. I was more interested in riding the ATV instead of visiting the pottery factory and Yeshua accommodated my request. Yeshua is one of the best guides I have ever had. His English is super. I highly recommend that you ask for Yeshua when you book.

Neimus was our tour guide and he was very nice and helpful. It was our first time riding ATVs and it was a blast!! We highly recommend Simoon Tours & Rentals if you want a fun way to visit nearby villages and experience the surrounding culture. Our Lake Atitlan tour was fantastic! Our guide, Diego, took us to two local villages where we learned about a number of Indigenous customs and practices. The ATVs were awesome and really fun to ride through Pana and the lake highways! Definitely recommend.
