Our tour guide Yota awaits you with a name plate. If your location isn't on the list, please write about it in the message. If you disembark from the cruise ship to join the tour, you will need to walk 150 yards to the meeting point in front of the Port Pharmacy. If you stay at Tahiti Airport Motel, you will need to walk 300 yards to the meeting point in the main airport terminal. If your Airbnb, guesthouse, pension is located quite far from the normal expected pickups range, you may be asked to come to the vicinity of Papeete. If you wish to bring suitcases on board during the tour, there will be a USD3.00 charge per suitcase, payable on the day.

A Great Tour of Tahiti-Nui - Go with Yota!

We had a great time with Yota! He was lovely about giving an actual tour so that we didn't miss beautiful flowers and wildlife. He's also an excellent photographer and didn't mind taking lots of pictures of us! My only constructive feedback is that there is absolutely no swimming anywhere on this trip and our girls were disappointed that there was nowhere to stop and cool off - even at the beach. Knowing this in the description of the tour would have been helpful in setting expectations. But overall, we had a great time and we highly recommend booking Yota!

At the end of the "What makes this tour unique?" section of the tour description, there is a note that says "No water activities during the tour." I found this might to be too short, so I will try to make it clearer. Thanks for sharing your experience. I have found areas for improvement. Overall, I am glad to have received positive feedback. This was well worth it. Yota is an engaging, friendly and interesting guide who takes care to insure his guests are enjoying themselves. He is well informed and provided historical and cultural context for the sites we visited. His English is excellent. I would highly recommend this tour!

Customized tour since we had already seen Papeete market. Got to drive around island to guide’s favorite natural wonders. Hard to beat seeing the blowhole’s jumping black fish n crab predators.

Yota is enthusiastic, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He gave us a great tour around the island, shared lots of history and stories, and tailored things to our preferences. We had a wonderful day seeing many sights of Tahiti. We especially loved seeing the long-tailed white birds flying around the waterfall. So lucky. I also want to add that Yota offered us the opportunity to cancel the trip at the time of pick up due to a rainy forecast. We wanted to do the tour anyway and had a great time. Yota always brought umbrellas at each stop, just in case, but we avoided rain the whole time. Lucky again! We had such a nice time.

18 days, luxury cruise and Moorea and this was by far our most enjoyable tour. Yota is so knowledgeable on the history to add to the fabulous sights he’ll show you. Accommodating, kind. Yoki was a very informative guide and delivered everything expected. He was kind, knowledgeable, taught us quite a few things, and took some very nice photos of our family during the tour. He had great communication leading up to the tour. We definitely would have not learned or seen as much if we had just rented a car snd toured the island on our own. The tour was a convenient and efficient way to see as much as we could in the short time we had on Tahiti. Also, the very clean, air conditioned van was nice on such a hot day. Thank you Yoki!

Yota is the best!!! We had only 1 full day in Tahitit. Yota was very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. His van was very clean he is meticulous in the details. Highly recommend him for this tour or even if you need a quick ride somewhere else on the island.

We saw archaeological sites, beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and more. He even recommended us a restaurant to eat at after and helped us get a table. Yota is the best!

Really fantastic experience. Yota is super passionate and knowledgable about the island of Tahiti, its history, and its culture, and he does a great job sharing his knowledge while observing (and driving between) several impressive spots: soaring waterfalls, botanical gardens, sacred Polynesian grounds, black sand beaches, and more. I had contemplated renting a car and doing a self-guided tour of Tahiti Nui, but the experience wouldn’t have compared; highly recommend partaking in this experience with Yota if you’re looking to efficiently explore Tahiti.
