Best ever caramel and chocolate tastings included in this tour. Bring your sweet tooth and good walking shoes. Confusing departure place instructions..lots of big black doors in area and first tasting was a long walk away.

Wow, if you love chocolate and pastries this is the tour for you! We can’t even remember all the places we visited but each delectable bite was delicious. Zach was our tour guide and historian and we learned a lot about US history and the ties to France on this tour. He explained all of the different kinds of treats we were going to try before we entered the shoppe so we would know what we were tasting. This tour is no match for a sweet tooth.

Great experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and was fantastic with the kids. Only downside was since we went on a Sunday somethings were closed, which is no fault to our guide just how it goes so keep that in mind for when you book.

A Tasty Must Do

, Jul. 2021
Our group would give it more stars if we could. Our guide was passionate about the history, the area, and the chocolate. It was a hot day so he brought water for everyone. The walk was not intense it was very casual and enjoyable with a stop built in to sit rest and drink. We have several allergies in our group and with the exception of one stop location they were able to accommodate and let them have a sample. It is a bit of sweetness and more to sample than expected. We did not have lunch before so many were okay to finish sampling but a few in our group saved a macaron or two for later. The tour lets you try the many types of chocolate, macarons, and pastries. The shops were beautiful and a must see.

One of our absolute favorites! Nicholas was amazing. He truly understands his subject and gave us a wonderful insight into the world of chocolate that I wasn't expecting, but was so happy to discover. He also gave us peeks into his neighborhood that increased our enjoyment and the treats we had were truly special and beyond delicious.

My husband and I had to work remotely from Paris so we sent our two teenagers on this tour. Their feed back was that it was super cool! It was historical and yummy. Their guide was Stephane Planchais. He even dropped them off at our apartment after the tour!

Incredible for the whole family!! Must do in Paris. My 8 year old son LOVED it. Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun - we went to a dozen or more shops, had hot chocolate, even went to a hole in the wall spice shop where we got to smell all these amazing spies from around the world. We got tastes of all the different chocolates and pastries from each shop. We were very full by the end! LOVED this!!

A wonderful stroll around St. Germain des Pres, with visits to the most extraordinary artisanal shops in Paris. Each one was a labor of love for detail, the finest ingredients, the most piquant fruits and smoothest caramels and cremes. The macaroons put that famous brand to shame! And the pastries are like mini sculptures. Stefan ran a restaurant and understands how each treasure is made, explains the history of chocolate and gives you tastes of different flavors from around the world. His enthusiasm is infectious. It is an afternoon not to be missed!

This was my daughters first trip to Paris and nothing could be better as an introduction to Paris history and the food culture than this tour! Our guide Nicolas provided the perfect blend of history and gastronomic delight as he took us on a beautiful walking tour of the St. Germain area. His knowledge of food truly helped us appreciate the craftsmanship that went into every item we tasted. His recommendations were perfect. Make sure you have an appetite! you are tempted to over-indulge at the start but you really need to save room for the number of fantastic tastings you will sample.
