This is strictly to avoid the lines, no guided tour, but frankly, worth it. Paris was very hot in late May, so we didn't want to wait hrs to get in. The Louvre is huge and cannot be seen and appreciated in one day. Highlights are the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus DeMilo and countless works of art. Lots of tourists, but once you get away from the biggies there is space to enjoy the art wonders of the world.

They gave us our tickets, rushing us along (talked to us for five mins) and literally walked us in and left. I could done that myself!!! In that five mins she even got upset after she asked us if we knew the history and a few people said no. Everyone was looking at her like what’s wrong with her?!

This was not really necessary first thing in the morning on a weekday because there was no line, but it was easy an convenient. The host met us on time, escorted us to the entrance, gave a brief history of the Louvre, and ensured we were able to enter with no issues.

The meeting point was unclear ended up being on the footpath infront of some other business. The woman just handed us out tickets and pointed us in the direction of the Louvre. Could have purchased them myself over the net, not had the worry of trying to find someone who looked like they were also a little lost .

This place is SOOOOOO BIG. To give u an idea. You could come here for 8hra a day for 3 days and still not see everything. The only thing I regret not doing is buying the audio to go along with the paintings. I had so many questions and no answers because I didn't get the audio. GET THE AUDIO!

We did not get the introduction by the host because we showed up about a half hour early and she told us that we would have to wait the half hour for her to walk us over to the Louvre. We opted not to wait and went ourselves. The good thing about this purchase is you really do get to skip the line and for the price, it's worth it even if you don't get the introduction.

Re the above purchase of Louvre Entrance with Host My wife and I have used the services of Viator on many occasions and have always been pleased with the results. On this occasion the tour option was to Skip the long lines to the Louvre Museum in Paris. Today, 9th October, we met the guide who gave us a brief introduction about the Louvre. He did this in an accomplished manner and then said to go to the entrance to the Museum after giving us our tickets. When the group got to the entry point, the tickets provided were not for Skip the line as was pointed out to us by a Louvre official. This was not what was advertised by your company and we did not get what we paid for.. We chose not to queue for what would have been a very long wait and missed the visit completely As regular customers of Viator, we are disappointed and dismayed with what was provided and hope you take some remedial action on this matter.

Tour that was scheduled for Sept 11th 9.30am the guide never showed up, multi phone calls were made to the provider via the office number and the operation team number costing 18 which gave us no explanation but advised us to receive the tickets from the souvenir shop we were waiting at and told to go to the skip the line area, which does not exist. This gave us a ticket worth 15Euro and meant we had to line up with the long line of people that had a 15Euro ticket. Security explained that there is not skip the line tickets, so i called the office number again and asked them to explain to security that we had skip the line tickets , this got us back in the long line again. So we wasted 1.5 hours and payed double the cost to enter, which made this very unpleasant.

All arrangements worked well. Meeting point was easy to find and just across the road from entry point to area surrounding Louvre. Not a very long wait in line to gain entry. Comments by guide were good. Achieved all that was expected of this no waiting in line Tour.

This sounded like a great deal But was in no way what it I was advertised to be. We arrived with plenty of time to meet the host but it became apparent that all was not right. We were booked for 10.30 and on our arrival at the appointed place there was a couple who was supposed to be meet at 9.30. We were there at 10.00. The 10.00 host arrived at 10.15 to collect her group and would not take the couple from the previous group.p and was quite rude about it. She refused to contact Nyone ain't just told them to wait. At 10.30 we discovered by chance that we had to collect the tickets from the store operated at the designated place, a souvenir shop. This was not in the instructions. By 11.00 it was clear that no one was coming to meet us. Two of the group including me made calls to the number provided but we got messages only in French that said no one was available and to leave a message but this could not be done as their mailbox was full, another ominous sign. I would recommend that visitors avoid this one at all costs as it seems things have gone very wrong with the operator recently. I hope Viator can recoup our money
