Guide was knowledgeable and sweet. The bus ride was long but the bus was new, clean and comfortable. The driver didn’t speak English but he communicated great.

Exceptional Normandy Tour
John_D
, May 2022
This tour was exceptional, qith a tour guide was likely the best we've ever had. Non-stop narration, with such detailed knowledge of WWII, and Operation Overlord and the ensuing operations leading to Allied success. We visited the beaches, museums and small towns key to repelling the Nazis from France.

Good tour, less talk
Virginia_H

This is a very long tour, but a very special and emotional one. Our guide, Amelia talked non-stop for over 3 straight hours! There was no quiet time for contemplation. Most of us don’t need a lengthy history lesson about the causes and battle plans. We all know the results. Actual tour was good, though, just less talk, please!

The entire day was memorable. Our guide was so very knowledgeable and respectful. Our driver was an expert and very cordial. At the American memorial there were many of us with tears, weeping fir fir the lost and honoring their sacrifice.

Interesting and well-organized trip

The driver and the guide were fantastic. The driver was safe and skillful. The guide gave a very good synopsis of the history of the second world war. He kept everything running very smoothly and on time. This tour was a good introduction to the D-Day event. I felt like more time might be allotted to the visit of the cemetery. By the time I had gotten through the museum I didn't have any time at all to go to the cemetery, which was a disappointment. The stop for lunch at Arromanches was a good choice. Lots of options for lunch and a bit of souvenir hunting. Overall this was a very good first time visit to the D-Day locales.

Incredible day trip from Paris. It is a long day so be prepared. However it is not rushed and the information shared by the guide was impressive. If you have additional time available in Paris. I would recommend.

Great tour-don’t miss it—but will be a long day
Cami_S
, Apr. 2022
This is a great tour but gets to be a very long day. From 6:30am-7:30 or 8:00pm. Our Guide had a thick French accent and at times it was hard to understand. She also talked for several hours straight on the way out to Normandy and it was hard to follow all the talking. It would have been better to be more concise This tour stopped for lunch in Arromanches-de-Bains and we are at Hotel de la Marine—a delightful seaside restaurant that serves locally made hard cider (by the Sapinietr family farm next to Omaha beach) and the best oysters shrimp and calamari ever. It has an ocean view of the sunken pieces of pier. If your tour stops there for lunch make sure you go!!

We had a great day trip to Normandy. Our guide Leila had great information and brought to life the landing of our allied troops. The bus was very comfortable and plenty of stops along the way. Leila and driver were great. Thanks for the day. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Impactful and highly recommended for patriots wanting to pay their respects

Our tour guide was great (I apologize I didn't write down her name) and bus at the pickup location was nicer than I was expecting. I was thinking it would be a passenger van, but the seats were cushy and roomy. There was a restroom onboard as well, but no one used it. The driver stopped at a gas station on the way up so we were able to use the restrooms and get snacks before the tour started in earnest. They also took us to a location for lunch and souvenir shopping before the final stop. On the way back they again stopped at a gas station for restroom breaks and snacks. All in all it was a long day (0700-2000), but I highly recommend it!

An Emotionally Uninvolving Tour
Cooper_R
, Sep. 2021
Guide & driver were fine. Tour is emotionally uninvolving because the tourist doesn't ever see much of anything tangible. Maybe stop at a German bunker?

Wonderful tour led by a very experienced guide. Expect to spend all day on this trip. Does require a bit of walking and standing outside (some people were not aware of this). 10/10, would recommend!

Very moving and emotional day
Lori_N

Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and while the tour wasn’t cheap, I thought it was worth the money. I would give this 5 stars but the bus was filthy. Tray tables were smeared with food, food on the wall.

Normandy excursion
Gary_B
, Mar. 2020
We signed up and paid for an 8 person tour. We were on a bus with 29 people, the bathroom was out of order and our prearranged ride back to hotel never showed up so we had to pay for a taxi. Our tour guide and destinations were great.

Highlight of my trip to France
Gregory_B
, Mar. 2020
If you enjoy learning about World War II, then this is the tour for you. This tour was easily the highlight of my trip to France. Our tour guide was funny, and extremely knowledgeable. She had something interesting to say at all times. Lunch was great, and the bus was super comfortable. I would 100% recommend taking this tour.
