Anaïs, one of the best tour guides I’ve had, explained the history of important places we passed as we walked from shop to shop, adding interest to what could have been “just a walk”. My love of desserts made visiting patisseries the highlight of the tour. Learning how some of the desserts were created was fascinating. The cheese shop was my second favorite. It’s was very quick pace to cover the itinerary in the allotted time.

Our guide Nadia was excellent- very knowledgeable and kept the tour very interesting. Of course the food was delicious. Also got a bit of a history lesson of St. Germain de Près. Highly recommend.

"Designer" jams with fruits and flavors I would never have thought of; olive oils in different flavors - who knew? chocolates; pastries; and, of course, bread. Josquin, our guide, introduced us to these unexpected treats on our food tour in Saint Germain des Pres. We also learned some history along the way and, all in all, had a delightful afternoon with a charming guide in this beautiful Parisian neighborhood.

Wonderful guide Joaquin, pleasant walk through cool old narrow streets. Nice variety of often award winning shops fair sampling. Jams, olive oil, breads, pastries, a sit down for meats and wine, then finish with cheese. Highly recommended.

On previous food tours in Madrid, Athens and Dublin we enjoyed twice as much food for Half the price. Only one stop included a beverage, We sampled olive oil (no bread or water accompanying) our guide was great but if you are expecting a local food experience this is not the tour for you

Dear Gary We read with the highest attention your review and are deeply sorry that our Food Tour didn't meet your expecttions. We work as hard as we can to make our guests happy. Although we take your comments as a chance to progress we genuinely wonder if you are refering to our Food Tour. Indeed we offer twice a beverage as part of the tour and understood you chose not to drink the last one. As far as regarding the quantity of food we are sorry you felt it was not enough but were equally surprised to learn you didn't finish the cheese at the last stop. Finally we do not provide bread at the oil shop as it altered the taste of the product. For water we advise to bring a little bottle of water. And last but not least it is true that our Food our is a high gourmet Food tour but it is in one of the most expensive neighborhood of Europe but so charming.

This was a nice introduction to Paris on our first day. We lucked out and ended up being the only couple on the tour so it was like a private tour with our guide Isabelle. She led us through an array of cuisine from all over regions of France. We got to sample a variety of sweet and savory foods along with the history of the establishments. We got to try the staples of France like cheeses, cured meats, wine and breads. Also the more modern dessert creations like macaroons and other desserts. Everything tasted wonderful and we cannot wait to go back. Isabelle was very personable and gave us great recommendations. I definitely would refer her to all our friends and family.

As a family we often take walking tours with a foodie twist and the tour we took with Paris-a-Dream and their exceptional guide Sayô was a great experience. Very knowledgeable, putting history and local context at every stop and along the way. Everyone, including our teenagers, really enjoyed this savoury tour. ---------- En tant que famille, nous faisons souvent des tours guidés à pieds avec une touche gastronomique et le tour guidé que nous avons faite avec Paris-a-Dream et leur guide exceptionnel Sayô a été une expérience formidable.
