For the most part the experience was nice and well organized. I appreciated having a guide walk us through getting around and through the process. However, I wouldn’t call this a tour. There was a large crowd which did not allow for our guide to provide much commentary. We basically stood around for 90 mins waiting to get through security and up the elevator. Then it was every man for himself because it was so crowded, it was impossible to stay with the group. I never saw our tour guide again once we reached the second floor- we were on our own figuring out how to get to the summit. Also, the details of the tour were not outlined clearly in the description. Had I not asked the guide directly prior to getting on the elevator to start the ascent, I would not have know I had to leave the Eiffel tower at the end of the tour, walk back to the initial starting point of the tour, get different tickets and then find the launch point for the boat tour all on my own. It was also not clear that while the tour says an hour for each location, it does not clearly state or explain the amount of time spent walking, waiting and actual start times. So what I thought was a 2 hour tour turned into 4.5. The guides were lovely and helpful, just wish more info had been shared at the onset so we could have planned better.

Contact details provided for travel operator were invalid. I was not able to reachout them. Nobody had any idea when i cled the customer care of viator. It was very disappointing. But finally i could reach out to the guide. Guide did not provide good information. It was not even accurate. Inspite of premium ticket we had to wait in big queue.

The guide was prompt and explained everything from the number of security checks prior to getting on the elevator to how to catch the river cruise boat. We received our tickets into the Eiffel Tower and Riverboat cruise at the meeting spot so we only had to wait briefly at the security gates and for the elevators. The history provided was interesting and the guide spoke very good English. We got there early 8:45 before the crowd and could really enjoy the views. After a few minutes of history, we were free to explore at our own pace.

Very chaotic organisation. No upfront tickets, but queing. No clear arrangements on boat trip. By chance, we met one of the ‘guides’ at the boats to ask for a ticket. Otherwise we would not have got on.

Very convenient, save time, the guide do the line for you, show you what to do and he was really polite ! Then he explains the story and all the facts of Eiffel Tower, after that we chose the river tour! Cause the summit is close for repairs!

A moment and a memory not to miss

We had the very first tour of the morning. Our guide was very friendly and shared much of the history of the Eiffel Tower prior to and during the tour. We had the option of going to the very top or just to the 2nd and 1st floors. There was a great museum on site and the views of course were spectacular. We very much liked the personal escorting to the Tower and Tour.

Poor Communication from this tour company

The meeting place was in front of a souvenir shop a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Ok. Time on the email confirmation stated 8:15, but to be there early. Ok. Not knowing what traffic would be like, or exactly where this place was, we left the hotel a little after 7. We ended up getting there very early. Again, ok. There were a couple cafes close by that were already open. 7:50 or so some others started showing up. By 8:15ish the souvenir shop opens up and the friendly store manager informs us that our guide is on the way. We were all getting pretty nervous, and most of us missed the sign in the shop window regarding the tour. Around 8:30 the guide shows and about 8:50 we headed over to the Eiffel tower, which apparently doesn't even open until 9:30 am. This was never communicated to anyone ahead of time, although it was known by the guide. But hey, I bet that shop owner cleared at least $1,500 that half hour. The back gate did let us in around 9:10, and we were pretty much the first tour group (and a small one) in the line for the elevators to the 2nd floor. So at 9:30 our guide got our tickets and we headed up. We were split across multiple elevators, and some people did not purchase the elevator to the top, instead opting for the 2nd floor option. So half of the group scrambled to get up top, and the other half wandered around until our guide made it up with the last people from the group. Some people ended up missing the mini-Eiffel tower history because of this. So, lack of communication before and during this excursion is what earns 2 out of 5. The Eiffel Tower itself is pretty cool. Oh... and the river cruise is just pre-purchased tickets. You can easily get these on your own and go on the 30-40 minute boat tour whenever you want. Our guide provided our tickets and we actually went the next day. That worked out very well for us since it was raining a bit that morning.

Easiest way to get tickets to the Eiffel Tower

When I tried to get tickets to the Eiffel Tower on their website six months ahead of our trip, they were completely sold out. This was the most reasonable way to get tickets and it worked out quite well. Our guide was very nice and navigated us through the process of getting through security and into the "skip the line" area. We did not wait long and were able to take our time and enjoy the morning at the tower. The river cruise was a nice addition and we did it the next day.

I wouldn't recommend this 'tour', a terrible experience, misleading and a waste of money

This is far from being a 'tour' or 'skip the lines' experience. Instead you are paying a heavy premium for someone to stand in line with you and buy tickets. This was a terrible experience, we would have had a better experience, for far less, just doing this on our own. First of all, despite saying that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early the guide was 10 minutes late, so everyone was standing around at our meting point for 25 minutes wondering what was going on. Then when he did arrive he was very disorganized. This was no skipping the line tour. We as a group stood in line with the guide for over an hour with everyone else that needed to buy a ticket. It would have been nice if this 'tour guide; actually gave us a tour during that time and maybe tell us a bit about the history of the Eiffel Tower, etc. Nope, not a word, instead he just spent a bunch of time on his phone. Then when we all boarded the elevator up he disappeared, never to be seen again. The Seine Tour was not part of the tour as we thought, instead he just gave everyone a ticket that could be used at any point over the next year. When we did that later in the day we needed to line up as well rather than skip the lines or go through the groups line. Making matters worse was that we needed to pay adult prices for this tour for both our 6 and 9 year old kids. But when the guide bought the Eiffel tickets he bought kids tickets which are 1/4 of the price of adult tickets. I guess the tour company just pockets the difference. My advice - don't book this tour, you get absolutely nothing for paying three times as much as you'd pay for yourself.

We all met at a souvenir shop, walked to the Eiffel tower security lines, spent about an hour in one line or another...but when it came time to go in the elevator, our guide was nowhere to be found, Our group ended up going to the top on our own and broke apart fending for ourselves. While in line, the guide actually said she would wait to give us any information until we were in the structure. She could have been teaching us while we were standing there. My son and I spent about an hour at the top and at no time did the guide ever show up. I went back to the souvenir shop (to get my perfume i was advised to leave behind) and asked explained what happened, but the owner of the shop didn't have much to say. So, we paid $150 to gain access to the Eiffel tower. Complete disappointment. There was so much to learn and we missed it (not knowing a word of French to read for ourselves). Damn shame, I want my money back,

A great Tower a poor Tour company

I have been on many tours all over the world and this was one of the least organized that I have been on. To begin with even though we were required to be there at 7:45 AM for an 8 AM tour, we did not begin to get organized until 8:20 AM. This was supposed to be a “skip the line to work “, but they were significant lines that we waited on and we did not enter the Eiffel tower until 10 AM. The guides separated those for the second floor and the top level, and for some reason those that went to the third level did not get a tour/exclamation of the city of Paris or the Eiffel tower, which I later saw every single guide giving to their group. Additionally, the tour guides must’ve left pretty quickly because they were nowhere to be found for people to get their boat tickets. Overall, I would not recommend this company, And I think that they should refund everybody’s money that was on that tour.
