Chateau de Chambord
From Paris, you’ll head first to Château de Chambord. Disney fans will find this castle’s turrets familiar; it was the inspiration for the castle in ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Though originally conceived as a royal hunting lodge, it was built to a scale that must be seen to be believed. You’ll learn all about the castle’s captivating history from your guide, before getting your own chance to explore. Climb a staircase supposedly designed by Da Vinci; enjoy spectacular turret-framed rooftop views; glimpse wild deer around the grounds; and work up an appetite for the next stop.

Having worked up an appetite, we'll get back on the bus and on to our next stop - the quaint town of Blois, where you’ll get some free time to enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants located around the beautiful and vibrant Square Louis XII or grab a bite and visit the Royal castle of Blois on your own, notable for its unique mix of Medieval, Gothic, Renaissance and Classical architecture. This Royal castle once was the home of kings Louis XII and François I and presents a tragic history, as the place where Joan of Arc went to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before departing with her army to drive the English from Orléans.

Chateau de Chenonceau
Last but not least is a visit to the elegant Château de Chenonceau for wine tasting. The chapel, bedrooms and magnificent vaulted kitchens are still furnished and decorated from times gone by, showing off the castle’s many sweeping stone carvings. Don’t miss the impressive main hall, which spans the river Cher, or the gardens cultivated by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici – two of the famous owners that earned Chenonceau the nickname ‘the Ladies’ Château’. After a guided tour, you’ll have a choice: continue exploring, or indulge in a second wine tasting in the castle’s vaulted wine cellar. Three uniquely beautiful castles, good food and wine, all amid the scenery of the Loire Valley: this tour is a feast for the senses.

Screw job
, Dec. 2021
No one was there to answer the phone when I called at 7:36 am to try to find the group. I was on the reverse side of the catacombs. When I called at 8:02, the person in the office answered Fe the phone and said I was too late. I intend to insure that others know of this.

Bud was on time, expect 12 hours on trip. All three places were very pleasant tour guide was helpful
Overall ok but group too big
, Nov. 2021
Tour group was more than 25 persons, not as advertised. Places of interests are fine, beautiful but smaller group would have been better, difficult to listen to the guide as group was too big.

Zero wine, too long of a bus ride for way too little to see. Still beautiful castles we got to see, but spent about 6 hours of the day on a bus, with no wine. Would not recommend or do again.
No wine on the wine tasting tour
, Nov. 2021
Technically the information was included, but it was in the fine print sandwiched. in the Covid related section between "you have to be vaccinated" and "everyone needs to wear a mask". I was making several reservations for our trip to Paris and had seen that Covid section on every one of them so I only skimmed it and totally missed the extra bullet point stating there would be no wine tasting on the wine tasting tour. I feel like important information like that should be much more prominent.
Comfortable castle tour

The rooftop experience of the spires of Chambord were breathtaking! The guide’s story of the intrigue between Diane and Catherine was also very interesting.
Rather dissapointing

Abby was an excellent, informative & entertaining tour guide + 5 stars for her. However, it was a long drive there & back for only a few chateau's. Beautiful & archeticually interesting, but if I were to do this again, I would stay in the area. The drive included 2 bathroom stops (one each way). None of the stalls at either location had toilet seats. Lunch was "on our own", but in a village with a cheateau that wasn't open.

Nice day in beautiful country with good staff
, Nov. 2021
The guide, Addie, was great. I walk slowly so she would get the rest of the group going and then would fill me in. She and the driver were very helpful.
Large group, a little rushed, disappointing wine tasting
, Oct. 2021
This was one of two day trips I did during a trip to France, and I think I could have skipped it. The tour guides were great, but was a larger group (think tour bus) with a lot on the schedule. The castles were pretty, but I felt very rushed through all of the sights. My group also made the mistake of sitting down at a proper restaurant during the lunch stop, which prevented us from seeing anything at that stop. The wine tasting was just three wines (a rose, a white, and a red), none of which were particularly good in my opinion. I would recommend the Giverny/Versailles day trip instead (smaller group, better pace, wonderful French lunch included). If you do want to do this day trip, I would recommend systematically hitting only the highlights of each stop, and definitely opt for a quick grab-and-go sandwich for lunch rather than a sit-down meal. Also, don't expect much from the wine tasting.
Hurry up and wait. Hope you like long long bus rides
, Oct. 2021
Bad decision to travel with so many people (bus was full and excess in van). We were told when to be at bus or meeting place and people just took their merry time. The first stop we were 20 minutes late, the second we were 40 minutes late. An older woman traveling with a family of 12 did not get on a bus at the second chateau. The staff and family looked for her as the bus drove around the town looking for her. They finally found her and made her take a taxi to next castle. The parents of a small child were in the taxi leaving the child screaming for their parents. Ludicrous. Who allows their child to be left on the bus to the next stop?!!! That said child was also sick, coughing and sneezing on everyone. I don’t think she was required to have a covid pass. Other family members were coughing and sneezing as well. The bus ride was over 7 hours. Not a good idea to be in small indoor area for that long with sick people regardless of whether you wear a mask or not. Since we were so late, we only had 8 minutes for our wine tasting before they rudely whisked us out of the cave and even said no time to purchase. We were suppose to be back to Paris by 7:30pm and arrived 8:15pm ruining dinner plans. Not worth the time and money at all.
