Remarkable Normandy Coast

Our tour guide, Sara, with Blue Fox Travel, was amazing!! Her knowledge of the area and events was superb! She was so accommodating of our desires, The Normandy coast was beautiful, and the stories of the events which happened made the tour very poignant and humbling.

Best day trip - you should go!!

Adrian was wonderful - the whole experience was magnified because we had such a knowledgeable, likeable and engaging guide. The weather was perfect and we liked the small group size. No more than 8 is perfect. The drive from Paris is broken up by a stop along the way for a bathroom and snack break. That’s nice. We were so lucky to visit the American cemetery on a special visitor visit. We had the experience of having the American National Anthem played throughout the memorial along with Taps. It was very moving and topped off an already incredible experience. It’s worth a day of your visit to France to do the trip.

Our guide Nisa was wonderful! So informative and entertaining. The day had everything we wanted to see. The bunkers, D day beaches, museum and of course the American cemetery. We ended the day at a beautiful French farmhouse tasting cider. Great day. Highly recommend!

If you can please ask for Oliver the tour guide. He was absolutely amazing and full of amazing knowledge. He truly was the best I have ever seen... he knew there was a ceremony happening and made sure me could watch from behind. I don't know exactly where to start or where to end.... but I will say it was amazing!! If you aren't moved by this tour, you will be by the end... Hats off to Oliver the tour guide!! May we never forget the greatest generation!

A day of history and remembrance

This was the most amazing tour I have ever done. It was moving and sobering especially the playing of Taps at the American Cemetery. The drive to and from Paris was exceptionally done by Jonathan of Blue Fox tour company The van was comfortable and the group was a total of 6 which made it even more enjoyable so that you were able to ask all of your questions! He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of D day ! He showed pictures along the way. You are also taken to a museum with a vast collection of weapons, equipment and other items related to the war! Everyone should do this tour! To be reminded of the price of war! Lest we forget, history can repeat itself

Our guide, Olivier, had not only tremendous knowledge about D-Day and the story, but imparted it with great passion. His storytelling of the individuals and the sacrifices was spellbinding. Omaha Beach Cemetery and hearing Taps while there will be a forever memory.
