Beautiful and informative tour of Versailles
, May 2022
First and foremost I have to say that our tour guide Romain was the reason I enjoyed this tour so much. Versailles is beautiful but if you were to go on your own you would be missing out on so much information of what happened there. Romain was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything Versailles and the people there. He made it seem like you were actually walking around the palace during the times of the royals. I would definitely not miss this tour!

Many thanks for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review. We were very happy to pass it on to Romain, and he of course was very happy to read it too! We agree you would miss such a lot if you went alone, there are such amazing stories about the royal family and their life at Versailles. We are happy you didn't miss the tour and we very much hope to see you again!
History, spectacular gardens and an amazing lunch!

This tour was excellent! Our tour guide, Ivan, was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also so kind and genuinely cared about our experience. We especially enjoyed the gardens and the Petit Trianon- the difference between the opulence of Versailles and its gardens and the Petit Trianon and hamlet made for a really interesting day. I learned so much because of the way in which Ivan explained everything. I knew that we had booked lunch as part of our tour, but I didn’t realize that we would be having a three course lunch with wine at an Alain Ducasse restaurant at Versailles. That was an unexpected bonus and a real treat. This tour was expensive, but we felt it was worth every penny.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review, we appreciate it very much. We have passed your kind comments on to Ivan, he was as pleased to read them as we were. We are happy you enjoyed your tour, and glad that the lunch was a nice surprise, we are always trying to exceed expectations! We design and price our tours very carefully to ensure you get the best value for your money, and that every dollar you spend is worth it. We are very happy to read that you felt that, and we hope to see you again on future visits.

Our tour guide for the Versailles Palace was great, his name was Herve. He gave us very detailed information about everything in the palace. He spoke to us in 3 different languages and was super kind. Thanks Herve

Palace,Gardens and Marie Antoinette Estate
, Nov. 2019
Is a tour we all need to do when visiting France, must be patience (big crowds) ,is very big lots of walking 18000 steps that day ,there is a little train that takes you to the Antionette Estate not comfortable and goat track is very bumpy (not good for back) , I would not do it with a large group we were 9 and still lost 2 ,but with the right tour guide this would not happen.Yes there is some negative views in my review but to see this place there is no easy way, off season there is still the crowds. Hey just had to cross it off!!!

Excellent tour. Our guide Herve was extremely informative and passionate about Versailles and Marie Antoinette. His knowledge of French history was amazing. His kindness and concern about the people who were on the tour was heart warming. We were blessed to have him as our guide, 8 wonderful hours of informative history!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. If you are lucky enough to get Herve for your tour guide you will be amazed at his knowledge. The palace was overwhelmingly crowded, but Herve made the best of it and kept us moving and was still able to share his knowledge in each of the rooms.
Great day at Versailles!

Our guide was Raphael. She was great! So funny and informative. We got some good historical context to the whole layout and story of Versailles. I'm glad we did the whole day option which included Marie Antoinette's hamlet. It was such an interesting contrast. Our day ended inside the gardens, which we could have stayed in longer, it's so large, but we were too tired. The palace was of course cram packed, but that was to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our day!
Beyond expectation

We knew Versailles would be impressive but we were blown away by it's real size and beauty. It is a must see. Our guide had access to areas we would never have been able to see on our own. She was a font of knowledge and answered everyone's questions. She was also very considerate of the needs of each person in our group.
