The best part about the trip was Watching the penguin show and hearing about their declining number sadly. Also watching the sleeping dolphins near the beach was a mesmerising experience. I never knew dolphins can sleep while half awake?!

Had a fabulous day ! The staff on Penguin island were very informative as were the staff on the boat .We saw the rescue penguins being fed , we went in April so the wild ones tend to be out at sea , we also saw many birds including the pelican’s and was so blessed to see quite a few Dolphins had an amazing day out

Penguin Island - simple, back to nature

I would highly recommend a trip to Penguin Island (which should be renamed Seagull Island!). Do your own exploring & walking around. Take your own food & drink or purchase at Pengo's Cafe on the main land before departure, as there's none on the island for good reason. Take your own rubbish back as well. The penguin feeding is beautiful. The cruise is nice, but sadly numbers of penguins, sea lions & dolphins are dwindling, not just because you can't see them while they're out feeding all day.

The entire day was fantastic. We had a beautiful sunny day and got to see so much of the wildlife. The staff were so great, willing to take the time with the kids and to explain details. The island cruise was so relaxing and although we didn’t see dolphins, we had seen them the day before, so really didn’t mind.

The wildlife was on point. We had multiple dolphin sightings, sealions and plenty of pelicans. The tour guide was v. Knowledgeable. I would say it was a little unclear that although the tour started at 11:15 you needed to get the boat across first at 10 or 11. The address given is for the mainland.

This experience was absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to see various dolphins as well as capture them on camera. I have learnt a lot during the cruise. My picture has fewer sea lions because the rest have gone off to breed. The little penguins are very adorable. The bird sanctuary was fascinating! I definitely recommend snorkeling too, the fish weren't scared of me and I saw some leafy seadragons! It was a very beautiful time I had there. The guides were incredibly nice! Kaylee is especially awesome.

It is a 'must-do' cruise. Cruising in the blue Indian Ocean around Islands is a beautiful experience. You get to see and learn about some of nature's rarest creatures in their natural habitat. It is a highly recommended cruise.
