Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid Private Tour

Great experience overall! We have an excellent tour guide who was knowledgeable on the history of the Mayan culture. We enjoyed viewing the ruins, swimming at Ik Kil cenote, and the buffet lunch.

Wonderful tour of Chichen Itza and a beautiful Cenote! Our tour guide, Lilah was brilliant and so knowledgeable and our van driver was extremely polite and professional. We loved Chichen Itza but it was HOT and there is little shade, so bring an umbrella and hat! The Cenote, Selva Maya lunch was so refreshing and energizing, and not terribly crowded. My daughter got sick on the van (she can get car sick) and the guides bought her a Gatorade and nausea medication for our return trip. I’m grateful for this experience and looking forward to using this tour service again!

Chichen Itza and the Ikkil cenote were both amazing. We had a wonderful time. Ana was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and kind. Alfred was our driver and he too was great.

Our tour guide Victor Trejo and our driver Carlos Galvan is what made this trip memorable. Victor is very informed and educated on the Mayan people, culture and ruins. My family and I learned so much from him and saw things we wouldn't have been able to without him. He also was able to direct us to a ceynote with a great buffet and not a lot of people. Our drive Carlos also provided information about the Mayan and Mexican culture and the difference between them. He was a great driver and got us to and from safely. He provided us with drinks and snack and made sure that we didn't want for anything. If you choose to see Chichen Itza I would recommend doing it with a guide, particularly Victor & Carlos. We will be back, thank you so much for such a great time!

Was an excellent way to spend the day! Victor was an excellent tour guide and Orlonzo was an excellent driver. Both spoke English and Spanish very well. Was a very informative and educational tour. I highly recommend and would do it again!

Private tours are more expensive but we had a great guide, Jesus, and a comfortable & well driven 4x4. We departed our cancun hotel on time at 0730 and got to chitchen itsa before most of the big bus tours, then went to a less well known denote for lunch and a swim, then spent a short time in pretty Valladolid where Jesus helped us buy some fresh mangos! The driver provided us with water, coke, snacks and beer between stops. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed Alberto’s Mayan history lesson, even if whitewashed (possibly due to teens in the group), which made the long trip pass by relatively quickly. The driver was also excellent.

Layla and the driver Picked us up at our hotel on time in a very nice van. Shared Lots of great info about myans and local culture. Great pictures and visuals to support her info. Saved us lots of time on lines. Answered all our questions. Lots of info about numerology and astrology. From what we could tell by overhearing other guides, she was So much better than the bored large group guides you can get at the site. She has some great ideas for unique pictures too. Took us for a yummy buffet at a centoe. The drive from Tulum had lots of interesting small shops on the side of the road, but we didn't ask to stop. Drove us through a nearby historical town and responded well to all our special requests…didn’t mind our minor changes in plans and was very considerate of our needs with quiet time, snacks and drinks available.

Always wanted to visit this part of the world, left early, beat the crowds, our guide Paul was chocked full of knowledge and the history.

This is a fantastic tour. Our guide Josue and driver Benjamin arrived on time and were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the tour. Josue is very knowledgeable and eloquent. He explained the history and geography of the visited areas, answered all our questions and was very flexible, offering suggestions and offering options throughout. A highly recommended tour.
