We will personally manage and take care of all necessary arrangements for you (national park entrance fee, parking, or any additional requests in advance) After meeting you directly at your accommodation (Manuel Antonio-Quepos areas ONLY), your adventure begins on your short trip to the entrance of the national park. As naturalist guides, we will describe the possible local flora and fauna that we may see during your experience with us, explaining and educating you about what makes Costa Rica such a diverse part of the world.

Our experiences in Manuel Antonio National Park for small groups, semi-private or totally private allow you to explore one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. As naturalist tour guides, we will describe the local flora and fauna that we see during your experience with us, explaining and educating you about what makes Costa Rica such a diverse part of the world. We encourage all the questions you have throughout the activity to enrich your experience. Do you want unique and incredible photos of the animals you see on the hike? We will personally help you take professional-quality HD photos and videos using our BTX or ATX Swarovski spotting scopes with our cell phones or handheld cameras.

  • Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes or hiking boots) are required to participate on the tour. (Please, no sandals or Tevas)
  • Pack sunscreen/bug spray and swimming gear (towel, swimsuit, etc.)
  • Important Pickup Information: Our meeting point will be right at your hotel lobby or front desk (Sharp Time please, NOT Costa Rican Sloth Time) Whether you are booking a group or private activity, please be an ethical traveler, it's not respectful make other enthusiastic participants wait in the car or van, if you are having a delay situation (breakfast, electrical, mechanical, etc) Do not hesitate contacting us, we will be more than happy to help you and make sure you have the most pleasant and satisfactory experience with our company.

  • The National Park entrance fee ticket is VALID ONE TIME ONLY, you are not allowed to re-enter if you leave the park.
  • NEW YEARS HOLIDAYS (December 22nd-January 4th) RECOMMENDATION, all hotel pickup should be before 7:00 am, it's very important in order to avoid queuing for long periods of time.
  • Bring your own personal water bottle (SINGLE-USE PLASTIC IS NOT ALLOWED AT MANUEL ANTONIO NP)

The guide was nice but he couldn’t find any animals we just wondered around. The animals we did see we could track ourselves so it was a waste to pay for a guide. We also didn’t get the drinks as promised or water during the tour

Your review title describes perfectly why customers like you should not hire a serious company of certified naturalist tour guides... next time just buy your own entrance fee ticket and walk directly to the national park beaches as you did with our tour guide. We really encourage this tour ONLY for customers who really appreciate the value of walking next to a professional. Amazing guide and tons of animals seen!

This tour is extremely efficient with not an overload of walking, which was amazing. We walked through the National Park for two hours and we saw sloths, monkies, deers, toucans, a variety of birds, a snake, crabs, frogs, and lizards. We went in the afternoon and Manuel was an amazing tour guide, very personable and knew how to spot the animals to see.

Our guide, Manuel, was great! He was so knowledgeable about the park and all the ecology within as well as about Costa Rica in general. Our expectations were exceeded in his ability to find animals and birds and check all the boxes! His scope was able to see everything up close and capture amazing photos for us! I spent a wonderful morning in Manuel Antonio with Manuel’s tour. We were a small group of 6 people and our guide Carlos was amazing. He was a very nice person and was so good at spoting animals for us. He also gave us a lot of informations on animals, plants, biology, animal anatomy that was fascinating. I was able to spend an extra 2 hours in the park on my own and then they organised a shuttle to take me back to my hotel. I strongly recommend Manuel’s Tour for a quality day in the park. Really cool experience seeing the animals in the telescopes brought by tour guides . It was like an experience out of National Geographic! Our tour guide named Mop was great at finding animals with his experienced eye but would be better if he spoke more and provided more verbal information. He would just set up the telescopes took great pictures . Would have been better with more narration and verbal education
