This was a great tour, the tourguide Donald was great and explained all that would happen throughout the trip and gave great information. We had great weather and it was really interesting to see the greenish lake inside the volcano. Nice tour for half a day. Worth it!

The tour was nice, and our guide was very knowledgeable of the area. The views up to the volcano were breath taking and it was really neat to see the volcano. We even saw some fun wildlife while there. My only complaint was we had to switch vans during the tour and the driver we had that took us back to our hotels was not a very safe driver. Additionally, he forget to take one of the passengers to his hotel and then claimed he had already stopped there which he didn't. Then he dropped that passenger off at a corner and told him to walk the 4 blocks back to his hotel from there. I'm glad it wasn't me but I felt really bad for the guy. The driver was on his phone constantly and he drove very fast. I would have thought maybe this is just the Coast Rican way, but I did 2 other tours and this was not the case with the other drivers. We did enjoy the trip to the volcano but the driver kinda soured our experience at the end.

Great view of the volcano! Well worth the drive. Our pickup came 15 minutes early because traffic was light that morning. It was extremely windy and cold at the top of volcano, but since dry season had started we could see the lagoon.

This was a great experience to see the Irazu Volcano. The tour guides made it an enjoyable experience giving us a guided tour of San Jose on the way up to Volcano, in addition we had a wonderful very filling lunch at a coffee plantation. The botanical gardens and historical churches were also fantastic. This was a great tour! Thank you!!

La nature décide tout….c'est la 2e fois que je tente d'aller "VOIR" ce volcan et ce fut encore une déception...blanc partout. Nous étions dans le nuage, impossible de voir à plus de 10 mètres devant. Et c'est très souvent comme ça selon le guide qui nous accompagnait. Même tôt le matin, les chances sont mince de voir autre chose que la clôture! Nous avons attendu que le nuage parte, en vain. Et le froid et l'eau qui s'est infiltré partout :( Je ne tenterai pas une 3e fois, c'est certain.
