The weather didn’t help but not the guides fault but it was torrential thunder storms with lightening - probably not the safest in umbrellas!
Also I had expected more of a tour around then narrow old town streets and there was none.
The guide was hard to hear and I did request for him to speak louder and that didn’t happen, his vocabulary also relied very heavily on the words ‘very important’ so much so it became a running joke for our group.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about San Sebastián! She kept a good pace, showing us essentially all of old town in two hours without leaving behind the elderly/slower travelers in the group. The food and drink she selected for us at the end was fantastic, and she personally emailed me more information I was looking for about things to do in San Sebastián. She was very friendly and told us to contact her during our stay if we had any questions.

Grab was really friendly and right on time. We received a message from Luz the night before to confirm and the meeting spot was convenient and easy to find. We ended up walking a total of about 3 miles but it was easy. We were able to choose a pintxo each at the end. Then we grabbed a few more once the tour was over.

It is a great and an enjoyable walk around the town of San Sebastian, with the provision of an in-depth knowledge and history of the charming and gourmet town from the local guide. One will understand the people from this region in ancient time, who built ocean-going ships to discover the world, which ultimately resulted in migration of people around our beautiful planet.
If you want to know more about the culture and uniqueness of the people in Northern Spain, this is a walk not to be missed.

This was very disappointing. Our guide was enthusiastic and helpful, but spoke broken English. But the tour wasn't the issue. The guide steered us towards "her favourite restaurant " as we asked for something romantic and traditional. It ended up being a tourist trap, horrible food, and atmosphere.
