Departure Point: Circular Quay Eastern Pontoon, Jetty 1 - halfway between the ferry wharves and the Opera House.

This activity will end right where it started.
Make your way to Jetty 1 at Circular Quay, located midway between the Sydney Opera House and the ferry wharves. There are multiple departure times throughout the day. Lockers are available to store your belongings (bring a set of dry clothes for afterwards), and you'll be provided with waterproof ponchos and life jackets. Meet your captain and listen to a safety orientation before taking off for your 30-minute jet boat ride. 

Zip through Sydney Harbour, past sights such as the Opera House, Rose Bay, the Taronga Zoo, and Luna Park. Listen to tunes on the state-of-the-art speaker system and hold on to your seats for a wild ride. The jet boat can travel up to 47 miles per hour (75 kilometers per hour) and perform tricks such as 270-degree spins, fish tails, wave riding, slides, twists, and power brake stops. 

Head back to the quay after your 30-minute ride.

Fantastic, pulsating "Thunder Jet" ride through the beautiful Sydney Harbour in sunny weather. Time just flies past when you're having fun! Our guide cum boat driver Justin is knowledgeable & possesses mad skills when navigating the jet. Prepared to get drenched - definitely bring extra clothes for changing. Highly recommended!

I’ve done this twice - 45 minute ride as well as 30 minute ride & both are superb fun. The driver was knowledgable and super reassuring to my two young children (8&11) who had a ball on the ride. You do get soaked despite the poncho provided but it all adds to the hilarity. Super way to see opera house up close, find out about other areas round Sydney harbour & actually go underneath the bridge itself. Highly recommended- thank you!!

It's like a roller-coaster ride on water!! The pilot was extremely well trained and experienced at handling the craft - although a heart-stopping, 30-minute thrill-fest, I never felt in any danger. For half an hour he got the jet boat to do the most incredible maneuvers: jums mid-air turns even braking on water!!?? Not for the feint hearted or for those afraid of getting drenched!
