Wild Australian Wildlife 4WD Tour from Sydney

Great to do one time if you never did it. It worths so much to see animals in their natural space and not in a zoo. You are ensured to cross kangaroos, wallibies and wombats on this tour. Very low chance about koalas and platypus, feel very lucky if you do.

Our guide was very friendly and outgoing but this trip is a huge rip-off. She drives you 90 minutes away from Sydney into a thickly wooded area to view wildlife. Then she has everyone get out of van (on a cold blistery day) to look for Koalas in the trees. She knows that there are no Koalas in those trees. On our so-called nature walk she was pointing out spiders on the ground...We didn't come here to look at spiders, but nice try on keeping us occupied.. Not one Koala was seen on the entire trip. We did spot many kangaroos and Emu's running around the woods which was fun, but enough is enough with the kangaroos. The tour guide also drives real fast when wildlife is spotted then slams on the breaks. I almost broke my neck to see a damn kangaroo. The hearty country dinner is simply a very thin sandwich with a tea. I was still hungry after dinner. Then comes night driving to spot wombats. Please spare me. This was a huge waste of time looking for wombats with a flashlight. We did see one dead one on the side of the road. Big woop. This expensive trip is a huge waste of hard-earned dollars. You will see more wildlife at the Taronga Zoo and are able to take many pictures with the wildlife there (including Koalas). Don't throw your money away on this boring tour.

This excellent wild life tour is worth the money. We saw perhaps 50 plus kangaroos, wombats, opossums, a pack of emu's, more wombats, many birds, and even a very rare an unusual albino deer! The tour especially gets exciting when the sun goes down and the animals come out for night.

Save your money. When the driver/tour guide had us all in the van he told us we would see kangaroos but maybe nothing else.He drove at breakneck speeds here and there and back again chasing elusive animals. We saw kangaroos, no koalas, two people saw a platypus and no one saw koalas. I thought we might see some stars but we were trapped in the van shining lights out the windows to try and see animals.What a waste of a day.

We really enjoyed this tour. Zoey was a great guide. She really tried to get us to see a Koala but unfortunately we just couldn't find it. We did see a paltypus, in fact we saw 2 which we were told was unusual. We saw 2-3 wombats. One came very close to my husband and he got a great video. We also saw 3 different kinds of possums, a lot of kangaroos, wallabees and birds. It was a long tour but it was so wonderful to see them in their natural habitat.

Zoe was so amazing. She so loves her job and the animals. She enthusiasm was so refreshing and it was so amazing to see the animals out in the wide and Zoe made sure we got great pictures and up close encounters with the wombats and kangaroos. It was an amazing trip. I would recommend this tour. It was a little costly but was worth it thanks to Zoe. We even seen a platypus.

We really enjoyed our trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw kangaroos, platypus, wallabies, and wombats. Since the wildlife are unpredictable, we did not see koalas. However it was still fun to walk through the eucalyptus forest to look for them. The food was excellent. Overall a fantastic experience!

This was awesome, our favorite thing we did, and we did it all (bridge, whale tour, hop on hop off bus and boats, Manley, Bondi, hikes... You name it. The lunch and dinner that was includes was very good. Ben was a great guide, nothing but good to say about it.

Our guide was very keen in finding us animals and was diligent at it. Was the start of mating season 4 koala bears so we only saw one but saw lots of wombats and kangaroos wallabies and even two types of possums. Enjoyed the trip. Language of the guide could been a little better.
