As far as snorkeling in Costa Rica goes, this is one of the better trips. If you have young ones, it is not for them, this is ocean snorkeling, not shore snorkeling. Good assortment of fish, good guides, but this is not a booze cruise type Hawaiian snorkel trip, but an actual dive/snorkel boat. A lot of value for the price, a good way to spend half a day, nice ride out, two stops that are fairly different, and a nice cruise back in along the coast. I recommend for those that are comfortable in open water, not beginners.

David, the owner picked us up right on time in his old, beater, surfer van. We proceeded to his business, where we were fitted with flippers, and others on the trip with diving wetsuits and equipment. Then, we drove to the beach to catch a small boat out to the bigger boat, and took off at top speed over somewhat rough waves. We arrived about 40 minutes later at some picturesque rocky islands. Snorkel master Isabella was great, making sure we all knew how to use the equipment, keeping us together and taking us to the best sights, and generally showing concern regard for our welfare. Rest of crew also great. Only disappointment was that there was not the color and variety of fish, as in the Caribbean where we snorkeled before.

This archipelago is renowned around the country as one of the best spots for snorkeling and diving. Its main attraction are the big fish, like sharks, manta rays, etc... and of course colored tropical fish. Every day is different though. Currents and wind may affect visibility and the presence of some species. That's nature. We would love to take you again underwater in the future and be able to show you all the marine life at its best. Pura Vida!!!

Fantastic time ! The visability wasn't great but we still saw so much amazing wildlife including 4 Manta Rays!!! We also say spotted Rays, madula days and a shark. It was as good as a dive and our guide, Francheska was sweet, great at pointing out wildlife and ensured our safety at all times. Totally reccomend !
