The tour guide didn’t show up. I rode a bicycle 30 minutes in traffic to be there on time. I was disappointed.

This was an incredible cultural experience: we walked through the back streets of Tulum with a local guide (a local artist), tasting tacos, tamales and stews of the Mayan and traditional Mexican cuisine (majority were food vendors and back alley, hole in the wall places that are never visited by tourists but are very popular with the locals). We learned the origin of these dishes, the ingredients and preparation, in addition to touring the streets of Tulum, its history and rich culture. 🌮🫔🥘🍮🍍🌶🌽

I enjoyed this experience 10/10. Our taco tour guide was very well spoken and took us to all the taco hot spots. He also advised us on what tacos we should try, everything was delicious. After that he took us to see some very cool murals and lets not forget the gelato to cool us down after walking through the town. Highly recommend this tour. I would definitely do it again.

So happy we found this and booked it. It made our vacation! Faustino was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We loved being able to try so many places that are run by families and places that the locals eat. Loved trying so many new things and learning about the history and culture of the dishes!
