Visit 4 Cenotes at Casa Tortuga

This was an awesome excursion! Went with 5 of my girlfriends. Our pick up was originally scheduled for 8 am, but changed to 9:20 am. I was initially worried because we had COVID-testing scheduled for 12:50 pm that day and needed to be back at the hotel before then. The company understood and assured us that they would do their best to get us back in time. Our driver, Genaro “Big G” was THE BEST!!! If you get him, you’re in for a good time for sure! Big G did a great job of informing us of what to expect when we arrived and played fun music in the car to get everyone excited for the day. Our ride to Casa Tortuga Cenotes was only 5 minutes as we so it was very convenient for us. Once there, we opted for the private tour (cost $32 US more for that) and had a wonderful experience with Agusto. Once we were fitted for our life jackets, He took us to and through the 4 Cenotes on the property and shared some interesting facts and folklore about each one. We also had an amazing photographer who captured our experiences in the Cenotes - You can purchase those at the end. They also have food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at the site for purchase. It says it can take 4-5 hours, but if you go early (We were there before 10 am) and opt for the private tour guide, you could be done in less than 3 hours. We missed the big crowds that came after us. We capped off our adventure with a celebratory shot of tequila before heading back to the hotel, courtesy of Big G! That was fun! He also offered cold sodas and water as well. Overall, totally worth it for the money. Communication was good with the company. So many great places to take pictures and the Cenotes were breathtaking. It exceeded my expectations. This will be an experience I remember for years to come!

The first cenote is great for kids. Easy to get in and out of the water. There’s a restaurant on site so anyone can eat afterwards

The tour guides collected me for the wrong tour. Yes, there will be a cenote visit, but not until I’ve sat through two agonising stops for the rest of the group to take basic b photos for their Instagram. Now I’m sitting in a roadside shack while they all visit a ruins site that I’ve already seen. I just wanted to swim in cenotes and go back to my hotel. Instead my entire last day of vacation is being wasted. Side note - as I’m the only English speaker in the group, the guide is just giving all info in Spanish and not bothering to translate. I’d like a refund.

We had such a fun time! Our driver picked us up on time and played the best music! Genaro was a great driver and Rafael was a great guide. We enjoyed swimming in all the cenotes. It was very relaxing and beautiful.

It was a nice adventure, but most of the group I was put with were Spanish speaking and so most of the information was given in Spanish. The guide did offer taking pictures of me which I thought was very nice. Even without the English translation, it was a neat experience!

Our driver never picked us up! Please refund immediately, this ruined our whole day. We picked a very easy pick up spot, the playa carmen hilton, we waited for an hour and no one came. Very disappointing.

I waited for the shuttle for more than an hour. I contacted the operator several times and I received no reply! Very unprofessional

My tour started off rough because I thought the trip was going to be canceled due to the fact that they forgot about us. I called and spoke to the owner Arturo and he was extremely apologetic about the issue. He was very professional and Friendly and fix the problem right away. He set us up with another tour guide, Murray, and he was so awesome and made our tour experience comfortable and amazing! 👏🏾👏🏾 I was looking forward to visiting the 4 cenotes and believe me when I say it is DEFINITELY worth the visit. They are so beautiful and the water is so clear. The caves were beautiful...you will definitely enjoy this trip. Thank you so much Arturo for the great customer service and fixing the issue right away. I really, really appreciate it and THANK YOU so much for your hospitality. Also, thanks Murray our tour guide for driving us around so I can see everything I wanted to see...ie (Mother Nature sculpture, Tulum sign) you all are truly amazing and I recommend doing this tour 100%.

Angel was fabulous! We could not have asked for a better tour guide. Took care of us: water, beer, authentic lunch, history lessons, hilarious, personable! You will not regret his company. Ceynotes Casa Tortugas were fabulous!
