Amazing guided tour of the gardens and the palace

OUr guide Manuel could not have been any better, attentive, informative, engaging and funny. We had been many times before but this was a first visit for my parents, he took them on a wonderful golf buggy tour around the gardens and then on a perfectly times later visit into the Palace. The time was just right, with a lot less vistors around, you didnt feel rushed, we could listen to his talks and take our time taking photos, the whole day was a real treat. We also spent lunch and dinner in Versailles town which is thouroughly recommended.

This was a great trip. My dad has a hard time with steps, walking etc so the golf buggy provided a great was for him to see the beauty of the grounds at Versailles. Polina, our guide was really knowledgeable - I have been to Versailles before and this was the best tour I’ve had there. She kept the pace just right to make sure we learned about the history and fun facts - while keeping my 8 year old Engaged! Bonus - we went late in the day so the palace was much less busy than the previous times I have been there so we were able to explore at our own pace.

Wonderful tour of this beautiful palace and stunning gardens. The gardens are so expansive, I'm so happy we did it this way on a golf cart. We were able to cover so much more ground in a shorter time period and our guide knew the history behind it and where to go. We would've never seen as much of the gardens as we did if we tried to do it on our own. Our guide was also able to give us so much information in the palace, so knowledgeable and knew little nuggets you only get from someone who's been doing this for years like she has.

While the tour is supposed to be 3 hrs we waited in line one hour for the cart so the gardens tour was cut short and the palace tour also cut short. All in all we got a 2 hr tour. The guide was fine but Viator has no control or influence over the cart part of the tour. This is a major shortcoming. What you get depends on the line for the carts, so the term skip the line isn’t so.

What an amazing experience!! This tour and the golf cart are an exceptional opportunity. We loved our tour guide, Nancy with LivTours! She was so much fun, highly knowledgeable, able to bring the past into the present and make it applicable. We truly enjoyed ourselves and believe this tour, because of Nancy, was one of our best Paris experiences.

Versailles was practically empty which was good for us as we got to see more! The church was finished being renovated so it was good to see it. This was a good tour, but wish the water fountains were running & that we could have seen the Hamlet (which, for me, is one of the highlights of Versailles). Our guide was very knowledgeable.
