I was lucky enough to have Gregg as my tour guide. The man is a phenomenon, whether it was the history, geography or even how wine is manufactured in Provence and France in general he knew everything but was humble In knowing it. The villages of the Luberon are beautiful and I would recommend this tour to anyone. Gregg gave guidance on the best places to see in the villages but his best advice was just to ‘get lost’ in the winding streets amid the amazing scenery. Absolutely superb!

The knowledgeable and witty tour guide made the trip memorable and gave us plenty of time to venture around each location. He was multi lingual and immersed all on the tour with his expertise on the history of the region. This tour was one of the highlights of my stay in Provence. I was also able to pick up some unique and affordable gifts along the route which made the tour even more special.

Lourmarin and Roussillon ancient villages worth seeing

The guide Remy did a great job, he has an extensive knowledge of the area. In the time allotted for the tour, I would have preferred to have skipped Gordes and spent more time in Lourmarin, including going into the castle for a tour. In Lourmarin, there were also a lot of very fine galleries, shops and eateries that were worth exploring. This small village had more upscale businesses than most, which were more basic tourist shops. Roussillon was magnificent.
