This tour was really great. It was amazing to drive a bike in beautiful old town of Bari. We had fantastic guide, Eleonora. She was very optimistic and kind person. She also advise us the best caffe, bars and what to visit. We tasted local street food, focciata and salami were fantastic. I recommend this guide.
We find this a great way to see a new city for the first time. Doing it on a bike is fun as you go places you don’t normally go. Our guide Guiseppe was great. His local knowledge was excellent. Ask for him and enjoy the ride.

Start with a hotel or port pickup, and then head out on a tour of Bari’s Old Town by bike. The narrow lanes that wind around the Basilica of St. Nicholas are enchanting, and the quarter is also home to the Cathedral of St. Sabinus and Swabian Castle. 

After admiring the Old Town sights from the back of your bike, you’ll try some of the city’s finest food. Stop at a bakery to learn how the focaccia barese is made, and call in at a brewery to try a locally made craft beer. Head inside a Bari salumeria (deli) to sample its salami and cheese. Be sure to try the burrata, a creamy mozzarella that is loved in Italy. 

Head into a winery for a sip of the local wine, then finish your tastings on a sweet note with a gelato. 

Pedal your way into the city’s French quarter to admire the modern buildings and the seaside. Cycle past theaters and shops lined with boutiques, then finish your tour with a drop-off at your hotel or the port.

Loved Valeria. She was fantastic, engaging, fun and got my teens involved on a very hot day. She was knowledgeable and entertaining giving us lots of history without being long winded. She taught my daughters Italian as well. We tasted some amazing food and it was truly an authentic experience.over the old city so much and would not have seen nearly all of it without her. Bikes made it fun too.

Fun way to see all the ins and outs of Bari

We would have never been able to go through all the small alleyways/roads of Bari on our own, or had they known they existed! They were so beautiful and it was such an authentic way to see the locals making all their food. All the food was excellent. I had a little trouble understanding the tour guide, but my fiance had no trouble.

We were lucky to have the lovely Ida as our guide on this tour and as we were the only people on the tour it was even better. We rode through the streets of Bari on our bikes stopping for pasta, wine and a platter and gelato. Ida told us about the history of Bari and some of the buildings. It was a very hot day and Ida set a good pace for us having to negotiate the small streets and people walking around. I would recommend this tour as I felt it was value for money and helped us to work out getting around the town plus an introduction to the lovely food of the area. Ida was such a sweetheart and made this a memorable tour.

I have asked for an upgrade to have a guide riding the bike for my family after received the tour voucher and they helped me promptly. So we had Francesco with us. He was really great! Even my 7-year-old son was interested on everything. Francesco made the trip special. He is very well prepared to talk about History and curiosities and the food we have tried was amazing. Francesco made an extra effort to guarantee we would try the most traditional food. When we arrived at the Foccacia place, they had already sold everything! So he made a few phone calls and booked for us to go to a different place, to be able to try it!. Very kind of him. I recommend! Flavia

After trying to change our tour time, this tour turned out to be the best in our 6 week tour. Allessandra was an amazing tour guide and we had a brilliant day. FANTASTIC TIME!! Could not have asked for a better way to see Bari during our short stay!! Meeting point was very close to port and easy to find. We were traveling via cruise ship. Our guide, Annarita, was sweet and wonderful she was VERY considerate of everyone's language preferences and barriers. We tasted numerous dishes: cured meats and cheeses, pasta, wine, and focaccia - the BEST I have ever had. We left with beautiful pictures and full stomachs : THANK YOU, ANNARITA!!

We loved every second of this tour! I feel like I got to see Italy the true way it should be seen! We loved biking through the narrow streets and witnessing Bari the way I wish everyone could see it! It was fun to add the food tasting as well and we got to eat real food prepared by Italian women right out of their kitchen! Out bike tour guide was THE BEST, I MEAN THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He talked about growing up in Bari and what it was like when he was a little boy! our guide was named Martino with veto service.org ! BE SURE TO ASK FOR MARTINO AND YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST DAY EVER AND REALLY GET TO SEE BARI!

Met 5 vrienden redelijk beschonken achter Vlad (de gids) aan gefietst! Dwars door allemaal smalle straten en mooie pleinen, hij vertelde een hoop, niet echt op gelet. Bij alle eettenten lekker een biertje gedronken, dit ging ten koste van de verhalen bij de gebouwen, dus voor ons win-win. Vlad zelf zij niet van bier te houden, daarom tikte hij zijn gekregen biertje op hoog tempo weg. Hoogte punt van de middag was een vriend die een buikschuiver van een aantal meters maakte dwars over een plein met vol terras, erg om gelachen. Vlad zelf was vooral bezorgd en zeer behulpzaam. Dit was totaal niet nodig, deze vriend heeft een goede airbag (ofja air). Al met al een geslaagde middag!
