Gioia was a wonderful enthusiastic guide who took us to some amazing places to try different local foods. We loved the variety of places including an Osteria where you take your own food and buy wine. She also showed us around the city and taught us a little about the culture and history. It was fascinating
We loved the fact that she gauged that we were interested in wines and focused more on that side. Loved the enoteca with the cake that you dip into wine - yummy
She also recommended a great restaurant to us which we would never have found otherwise
A lovely 3 hours spent with Gioia - heartily recommend it!

We had an amazing food tour with Paolo, our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and his English was impeccable.
We had so much fun visiting the markets, trying the many types of food, wine, coffee that Poalo had bought for us, as well as walking through the town where he showed us the many historical sights in Bologna.

Gioia, our guide, hosted us on a wonderful tour of local bodegas, markets and restaurants popular with the (Bologna) locals. She complemented our delicious tastings with interesting insights about the people and culture of the city. Her perspective was especially interesting as she lived in the States for two years (working at the Italian Pavilion of EPCOT at Walt Disney World) and was therefore able to point out some intriguing differences in our understanding of genuine Italian cuisine! Great fun!

This tour was wonderfully immersive, fun and social! We had a private tour with Gioia and she was such a pleasant tour guide. Super knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient with us when we literally wanted to sample everything. She asked us what we had already tried in the past and catered the tour such that we would only try new, local things. The food itself is delicious as well. Lots of variety. We felt very lucky to have such a personal experience with Gioia and would recommend her and this tour to anyone!

We had an absolute great tour with Sarah. The food was excellent and Sarah is a great and experienced guide. It was fun talking to her and getting to know her city. Furthermore, she shared with us a lot more than the tastes of Bologna. We got to know the city, its history and personal remarks as well. On top, Sarah was really helpful with the rest of our journey, starting with local restaurant and activity tips as well as other information we asked her about (e.g. gifts for the loved ones at home and the like). 110% recommendation
