This was a great activity! Clearly, Luca is the star of every cooking class and Carmela was great too! They really kept us entertained and the food was so yummy! I do wish they offered smaller groups and more hands-on involvement but it wasn't so bad that I would let it stop me from doing this! There was 6 of us and we had so much fun and learned so much at the market and while cooking!! Also, the facility is GORGEOUS. Do it!! Luca, We love you!!!!

Cook and Love with Luca

This experience was one of our highlights in Florence. It started with an informative visit to the market followed by a visit to a dreamy Tuscan estate where the rest of the fun took place. We spent the rest of the day learning and cooking a 4-course meal with our two extremely entertaining and “cheeky” hosts, Luca and Carmela. Making bruschetta, pasta, and tiramisu from scratch was made easy and we plan to do it from home! Afterwards, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor with the other lovely tour members and plenty of wine. I can’t stress enough how awesome Luca and Carmela were - they really took the experience from great to unforgettable.

We absolutely loved the cooking class with Luca and Carmela. We learned so much about the culture of cooking in Tuscany while having so much fun. Everyone was involved in preparing the food. They also sent us the recipes so that we can try them out at home. I would definitely recommend adding this to your must-do list while visiting Florence.

A must do trip to learn to cook like an Italian

A truly wonderful experience. Olivia and Carmella were outstanding hosts. After an informative trip to the central market where we learned about the various local products available in Tuscany, we traveled to a beautiful casa on the side of the mountain that was perfectly set up for a class of 20. There was enough space that everyone had a hands on experience from dicing vegetables, preparing the pork, making pasta from scratch and preparing a delicious tiramisu. Carmella entertained us with song and stories as we worked. I would heartily recommend this trip for anyone who wants to enhance their culinary skills Tuscan style.

One of the best tours I have had. The market shopping, the cooking and the eating! Wonderful! The cooking class is set in a beautiful kitchen. The estate has the most wonderful views. Lastly and very good importantly was Carmella and Luca. Great. Luca made the experience what it was. Lots of laughs, education and a genuinely fabulous day. Would highly recommend.

Luca and his outgoing personality absolutely made this class! He helped this group of strangers relax and enjoy each other's company. Besides being entertaining, Luca is an accomplished chef and wonderful teacher so we all learned from him. The market tour was fun, and the meal we prepared was delicious. I can't wait to try these recipes when i get home. Today's cooking class has been a highlight of this trip!
