The Fiat 500 swiftly became Italy’s favorite little car when it was first introduced near the end of the 1950s. Its retro-chic look has made early models the most desired vintage cars today in Italy, and you’ll have the chance to hit the road with one yourself.

Make your way to a private garage in Florence, where you’ll find your restored 1960s Fiat 500. Your guide will give you a safety overview and the opportunity to practice with the manual gears. The selected driver for each group must feel confident behind the wheel before you set out.

Then, you’re off! Travel with your convoy into the Tuscan hills as your guide leads the way. Hear insightful commentary about the history of the wine region as you drive along the secluded country roads.

After a scenic drive through the Chianti region, you’ll pull into the villa and wine estate, dating back to the 15th century. See the Itinerary section for details on the two activities to choose from before making the journey back to Florence.

Learn about the region’s prestigious Super Tuscan wines on a 1.5-hour tour of the wine estate. With your knowledgeable guide, explore the vineyards and cellars, and then taste several local wines. During the tour, sit down in the wine cellar to enjoy a light lunch of crostini, meats and cheeses. You’ll have time to spend at leisure in the grounds after your wine-tasting tour ends, simply relax and sun yourself in the grounds!

A definitely recommended experience if you like driving a stick shift and genuine antique car ( mine was older than me!). The countryside and roads are marvelous and the guide Andrea took us through uncrowded roads. The wine tasting later was excellent and the location of the winery is very picturesque.

Such a unique experience! Cute little cars, driving through the beautiful countryside. There is only one stop along the way. I thought we would stop at more locations. You better be good at driving a manual transmission or DO NOT book. My son is great at driving manual. However, the cars are old. The gears and shifting aren’t smooth. Our brakes didn’t work great. The wine tasting and charcuterie plate at the end was nice. We were lucky to be on the tour with a lovely couple. They added to the positive experience. Getting there, a taxi is a must. It’s a ways out of town. The guide will call a taxi for you to get back to town.

This was one of the best trip advisor has to offer. Vito and Gilberto were amazing. They made sure we were prepared to drive safely but also had a wonderful charm and fun energy. They made it a wonderful experience and we had tons of fantastic picture opportunities. I highly recommend taking this tour you will not be disappointed!

Guide︇ was good. Locations we visited were great and the wine tasting was really nice! Could be a really amazing experience but the cars need some major TLC. Our car was rough. I know they are old…we own a 1946 Buick so we thought we were prepared. However, it seemed that the seals on the exhaust system were in poor condition because the leaking was terrible which made for a less than pleasant ride.

We had the best time ever! It was so much fun! The country side was absolutely gorgeous, we got to see olive picking throughout the country side and the tour guide was excellent! We were only with one other couple so it was very personalized tour. The wine and assorted meats and cheeses were excellent as well as the olive oil and bruschetta. Highly recommend!

This excursion was absolute magic! Our guide was so hospitable and kind! He also was very thorough with instructions and care of the cars. :) the views of Tuscany was just a dream, especially behind the wheel of the adorable fiat! We finished our tour with lunch and wine at a picturesque winery. If you’re on the fence about this excursion, I recommend just doing it! It was one of the most unique and memorable experiences! Great tour! Andrea T was a great tour guide, and he was knowledgeable about the area. The cars could use a lot of TLC as rust and wear and tear have certainly started to take a toll. I recommend taking This tour, especially if you are a vintage car enthusiast.
