This activity will end right where it started.
Your Tuscan cooking class will begin in central Florence, where you’ll join up with your small group near Piazza Santa Trinita. Follow your instructor across the Arno River where the cooking school is located.

Soak up the views of the iconic Ponte Vecchio as you cross the Arno before making your way into the modern kitchen. Tie on your provided apron, roll up your sleeves and get to work with the guidance of an expert chef. The menu tends to vary but typically comprises chicken stew, potato gnocchi and a dessert, such as the popular tiramisu. (A sample menu can be found in the Itinerary section below.) Hear about Tuscan culinary techniques and traditions as you prep and cook your meal.

Afterward, reap the benefits of all your hard work! Seated around your fellow chefs, enjoy your creations with a glass of local wine.

Once your stomach and taste buds have been sated, your Tuscan cooking class will conclude. You’ll leave with a recipe booklet so you can recreate your dishes back home.

My departure time had clearly stated 4:50. I got a little lost and called the office to say I may be 5-10mins late. The office said it was fine they’ll ask the attendant to wait and just to keep walking. Me and my friend get there no one is there. I call and the office says the attendant left even though the office had said it will be fine. I asked for the direct address of the class instead to walk there directly (not sure why they didn’t provide this in the first place). The office was reluctant to give this. They finally have a name. Me and my friend walked to the name of the restaurant given to find there was no restaurant there. Complete scam.
Don’t miss the opportunity! Great time

If you ever get the opportunity to shadow a chef. Just do it! During the day Crf Francisco and his staff have 50 culinary students from 18 accredited university’s and at night he invites the tourists to help fund the school. It’s brilliant albeit exhausting for the staff. there were 4 classes of 12 going on tonight. Our group had the big boss as our chef/instructor. first fun fact: the two most widely used spices used in Tuscan cooking? Anyone? ground black pepper nutmeg I thought garlic would be there but …nope! 2nd fun fact… there’s a way to cut an onion and you won’t cry. Im happy to demonstrate because I now have skills. we started with home made, from scratch lava cake! 3rd fun fact its not ok to lick the spatula in a cooking class …oops 4th fact After “ramekining” your chocolate yummy ness… you freeze them! Solid! Hence the reason we started with desert. then you back them ….welcome lava ! So much more to learn. And dinner was terrific!

Fun experience with great food!

The class was just me, my bf and one other couple. The instructor was extremely kind and accommodating to dietary restrictions the other couple had. She helped us make 2 different batches of food to accommodate. She explained culinary reasoning for the recipes and, most importantly, we got a great multi-course meal to eat at the end! They provide the recipes for you to take home, so you don’t have to worry about taking notes. Great experience!

Real Culinary Confidence Achieved in One Evening
, Jan 2022
I was delighted with my recent cooking class in Florence. The chef and team interspersed humor while skillfully managing our large group to teach us: appetizer preparation, knife skills, the how to’s of fresh pasta and meaty ragu, how to dress up a hearty main meat dish and, wait for it… a creamy, cheesy dessert. The commercial kitchen was pristine and well-stocked. Under the Chef and team’s guidance, we created a delicious four-course meal to remember. What’s even better, the skills learned will allow us to replicate a taste of Florence once back home. Bravo team – it was divine.

My wife and I had a great experience cooking a four course meal. The chef was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in preparing the meal. We had generous portions of wine and learned new concepts. It was a great cooking experience.
