I had a truly wonderful day with Karl, an energetic and knowledgeable guide who is passionate about Genoa. A perfect tour for me, combining history, architecture and food. We stopped for caffè, gelato, vino, and a relaxing lunch. Karl introduced me to farinata, a local street food that is gluten-free, and I could enjoy. We wound our way through the fascinating streets, Karl always eager to explain another fact. He pointed out features of buildings I never would have noticed, and took me inside some palazzi and churches to see their incredible opulence. He spent extra time with me and was a most accommodating guide. Truly memorable.

Karl knows the history of Genova! We spent a great afternoon, walking narrow streets and alleyways, and viewing the architecture. He took me to a excellent focaccia restaurant, where they served very generous portions. Enjoyed a glass of Prosecco (well 2). Another benefit of taking this tour, meeting locals and learning about daily life in this city I can’t recommend this tour, enough. Enjoy

Karl was the most amazing guide! This was by far the best tour we experienced on our vacation. The group consisted of my husband and I, our daughter and another family of 3. We learned so much, saw so much and genuinely enjoyed the entire day. It is a perfect cruise excursion as everything was within walking distance. Genoa is a beautiful city, with rich culture, amazing history and delicious food!

This tour was the best part of Genoa. It was just me, my boyfriend and Karl. He was sooooo knowledgeable. We learned so many interesting things, saw great architecture and hidden treats of Genova that we would not have found ourselves. It was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. We wished it had been the first thing we did when we got off the plane. He was never without answers to our many queries, was willing to stay late with us and just have coffee and talk to us more. I honestly cannot recommend this tour enough. Please book it!
