Our wine tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable not only about the local wineries but also about the history of the area. She took us to a local family winery then gave us a brief tour of the surrounding areas in long Napoleons Lookout. This afforded us some beautiful views of Hvar! Great host.

Thank you for your review. We are really trying to do our best to present our island of Hvar and are really sorry to hear that the Wine tasting tour you've booked was way too expensive for what you've got.
Tours are described on the websites and it is clear that Wine tasting tour is in one (1) of the mentioned wineries after your are picked up. In a section "What to Expect" it is clear that you will be picked up, you will be driven to the winery, you will taste 4-5 different kinds of wine with snacks and you'll return to your departure point.
In the winery you were treated with 5 different kinds of wines and 1 extra wine to try and when we heard that you liked chocolate you have been driven in to the next town to buy some artisan chocolate, what was something done totally extra and out of the programme.
Your wine tasting was exactly what is described (and more) and we are sorry that you were disappointed as you've missed some of the reading.
If you will come again on the island of Hvar we would be happy to show you more of the island.
Memorable tour leave only footprints.

My daughter and I had a personalized tour with Dinko. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour at a small family run winery. We sampled not only “Orange” wine, red wine, and dessert wines and had a small snack of fresh herb infused olive oils as well. The wine sampling was fun and I couldn’t resist buying a bottle of red wine and a small bottle of olive oil. Both were well packed for our flight.
Dinko drove around the island and took “old roads” so we could see Stari Grad, other small villages, and Napoleon’s fort. At one point Dinko stopped and picked fresh almonds for us to sample.
Dinko was extremely knowledgeable about the vegetation, history, and life in Hvar. It was an amazing tour.

Really great trip with a great transfer host showing us so much of the island and amazing wine making! The transfer took in great views of the towns and interior we never would have seen and our host went out of the way to take the old scenic road when she heard we wouldn’t be taking it otherwise and peppered in so much info about the island. The wine tasting was excellent with a ton of attention from the winemaker himself sharing his story and educating us about the wines. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Our guide on this wine tasting was wonderful. We learned so much about the island. It was a pleasure to talk with.
The wine tasting, too, was delightful. Beautiful space. Intimate. Six kinds of wine. Naturally, we brought some home! We left with a better idea of the grapes in the region and the kinds of wine we enjoyed here.

We had an amazing tour with Dinko (not sure of spelling). This was much more than a wine tour. Dinko has lived on Hvar for his entire life…and his family has for generations. He knows the island and people intimately, so on the way to the winery, he took us to numerous special and off-the-beaten-path places and sights. It felt like such a privilege to have these things shared with us…like picking fresh lavender and oregano and rubbing it on our palms to experience those wonderful scents. And then we arrived at the Caric Winery, where the wife of the winemaker introduced us to five wonderful wines. Each was paired with a yummy traditional Croatian taste treat. She was warm and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about wines. We purchased some bottles but were sad we couldn’t put a whole case of wine in our suitcase!

Had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Dinko, showed us several interesting sights on the way to the winery. The winery was a nice experience; we got to taste 10 or 11 wines.

We decided on this wine tour to explore the island and drink Croatian wine, as this was our first time here. Tosci was a great driver who took us on the old roads to Tomic winery. The wines were delicious and made even better by pairing with tasty snacks. We would definitely recommend!

We thought this was an excellent tour. Our guide Ivan had a great personality which made the tour fun. He was also punctual, a good driver, very knowledgable and took us to various points of interest on the Island. The Tomic Winery that he chose for us was great. A very good presentation of delicious wines, accompanied by a nice selection of local cheeses and meats. We highly recommend this tour.

Our driver was excellent and very kind. He took us around main landmarks of Hvar islands and we had a pretty good idea of the whole island's history when we finished the tour.
The wine tasting was great, 6 different wines of all the Croatian varieties. Our wine46 guide, Caterina, was really polite and predisposed.
