Take cab fare

Our tour guide Ilene was extremely knowledgeable. One of the best tour guides of our trip. We only found that during the drive when we needed a little down time to close our eyes for a bit (as we were still jet lagged) she still had way more information to give #sleepdeprived. #NoNapForUs. The 3 locations were nice but we needed more time at Windsor and I could have skipped Oxford. The day was way too long. Also, apparently bus drivers in London can’t drive over a certain # of hours. Our driver announced that he was almost over his hours so he had to pull over. So although we got back to London, they let us out in another part of town and we had to take a 40 min. cab ride back to our hotel. I felt sorry for the seniors, people with kids and those who might not be able to afford the cost of a 40 min. cab ride. They should have sent another coach bus to pick us up and return us where we started.

Fun, educational and memorable experience

Danxia (our tour guide) and Tony (coach driver) made the trip fun, interesting, and educational. Danxia’s knowledge of the those places and their histories made it easier for us to understand. The 12 hour trip was definitely short lived , we didn’t feel tired or bored, we felt comfortable and entertained. We strongly recommend Danxia because she made the trip memorable, and Tony’s knowledge of the road kept us safe throughout. Thank you.- marlyn

Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel are a must!

We booked this trip because the larger tour group we went on did not include Stonehenge. I'm so glad we did this trip since we were able to visit Windsor Castle, Oxford, and of course Stonehenge. St George's Chapel was fascinating and the docents were full of information. This was the highlight for me. Our tour guide ZoZo was awesome! He was entertaining and a plethora of information. *Be aware on the days that Windsor Castle is close.* Make sure you check. I originally booked it on a day Windsor was not open to the public. Thankfully, I double checked and was able to rebook on a day it was open. My teen girls would have been so disappointed as they are huge Harry and Megan fans.

It was a really pleasant experience. The three places were wonderful, and Pete, the tour guide gave us all the right tips to get to know each place the best way possible.

A sampling tour of three famous places

-Pete was an excellent guide and Ashley was a superb driver! This is definitely a tour for those just wanting to experience a small portion of Windsor, Oxford and Stonehenge. The only one you truly had time to explore in depth was Stonehenge. There is more time in the coach than there is at the destinations. If you want more than an hour at each stop you should pick a different tour. We signed up for the English speaking tour but the company assigned Spanish speaking guests to our tour and it ended up being bilingual. Pete did a good job of this but it did take away from the experience and if you ask for English speaking your that is what you should get.

We had a wonderful day. Everything was amazing. Windsor Castle was special I am sure our day would not have been so wonderful but our tour guide Danxia made it special. Danxia talked very clearly and told us the history of the palace, stonedge and about the City of Oxford. She was delightful and went beyond her duties In helping us out. Danexia knew all about the subjects she was talking about.

Packed bus
Wendy_W
, Jul 2022
The bus was to have only 35 people and ended up having 53! There were no empty seats. Clearly our comfort and health were not taken into account. Also, with that many people, we lost time getting into Windsor Castle since we had to wait as a group for a second band to get in. The line at Stonenenge was very long since every tour company was there at the same time. It would be better if the times were staggered. Our tour guide tried but it was a disappointment with so many on the tour.

While the driver and the guide did a great job, it is too much to do in one trip. Always rushing to get back to the bus. You have to run, no time to grab a bite. The Oxford trip is in such a hurry that it is a waste of time. Windsor, you better run.

I would recommend to have a white board/sinage at meeting bus stop to clear up confusion as to where to line up for tour. There are many similar tours, and it is very confusing . I understand that time is limited, but perhaps by adding on a few more minutes to allow time to even get in a better look of castle, etc. There is barely enough time to grab something to eat to take back on bus

Ok, but maybe a large bus tour is not for me

1. Finding the correct bus to get on was an absolute nightmare. The address was difficult to find, and then figuring out what bus and who the correct guide was, was a disaster. 2. The bus is crowded. Every seat is filled, and being a solo traveler, I didn’t really want to be put with random strangers, but had to be. 3. A young adult on my bus was clearly very ill. Vomiting often and loudly. It was disgusting, but despite how sick he was, he stayed In the group and participated in the entire day. I didn’t find this safe or respectful to the health of the rest of the participants. 4. While the guide was great and informative, and the stops were interesting, there was a lot of time, I thought maybe too much time, at each stop. I would have rather seen more places and had less time at each.

ZoZo was an excellent guide and Mohammed was our coach driver for this tour. They combined to provide an amazing experience. ZoZo gave interesting historic commentary for all of the places we visited, which made the day go quickly. He was very organized and allowed us free time in order to get something to eat or take a comfort break.

Great visit to British Landmarks
Ileana_V
, Jul 2022
Great tour! Our tour guide, Ludmilla, and bus driver, Jim, we’re excellent. Ludmilla is very knowledgeable about the history and inside facts of each of the destinations. This was very helpful in understanding the importance and significance of the beautiful British landmarks. I was particularly impressed with the information Ludmilla provided prior to visiting each landmark. Also, they were very accommodating with requests to keep the coach bus at comfortable temperature throughout the trip. Be sure to bring cash on hand to tip the tour guide and driver, unfortunately I had no cash but would have provided a good tip for a great experience. One of the best tours I’ve had!

Not enough time to see Windsor palace. Spent more time waiting in line than exploring the castle. At least two hours is needed to explore the castle. The guide was nice but was difficult to understand his Italian accent.

The tour is nice but it is too rushed in order to eat something by lunch time and even go to the toilets if you are with family. Still, it is interesting.
