I had a wonderful time biking with fellow travelers. Lucca (our guide) was warm and welcoming and excited about telling us about Lucca the town. Biking the wall was fun and I always felt safe and comfortable. The treats were delicious and I appreciated the mini breaks to kind of rest and recoup from our ride. The bike ride was NOT strenuous at all and very pleasant.

I had been told for years what a special town Lucca was. Being able to do this bike tour with Luca as our guide made it even more of a special experience than I could have imagined and my bar was already pretty high! He kept the pace appropriate, I always felt safe and we had the most amazing experience enjoying riding on the city wall as well as through the alleys and streets of the town. The three stops for food wine and gelato were also satisfying and even more important we enjoyed learning more about Luca and Lucca as we dined. Of our entire 12 day cruise, I have a feeling this will be the highlight of the whole thing!

We loved Lucca! It was one of our most unexpected and favorite places in Tuscany. This bike tour was the perfect introduction to the city. We got to see a lot on the bikes and riding on the city walls was a highlight. Chiara was personable, punctual, communicative, upbeat and flexible. She had a passion for the city and it was exciting and engaging to hear the history while we saw the sights. I’m a gelato obsessed person and the greateria she took us to was one of my favorites in Tuscany. I wouldn’t miss this tour. Thanks!

we can highly recommend the bike & food tour with Chiara. She combines stories about Lucca’s history and today‘s life in an informative as well as entertaining way. The food stops offered yummy tuscany delicacies and drinks, so that the 3-hour-tour passed by in a flash.

I loved it!! Chiara and Luca were amazing. So knowledgeable about Lucca and Italy. I have done bike tours all over the world and this was one of the bests. The food was also fantastic. The entire day was just so fun and so much better because of this bike tour. I would highly recommend it!!! I could never have seen so much of Lucca on my own. Anyone could bike it and everyone will love it!
