Walking Food Tour of Milan with Tastings

Wonderful tour. The food and wine was delicious with very generous portions and our guide was knowledgeable and charming. A very special afternoon in Milan. In addition to food and wine, we learned about the history and the neighborhoods of Milan. Exceptional experience overall.

We have a small group of 8 people. Our first time having food tour and we enjoyed it a lot! We walked around the area learning a lot of history. The only thing is the weather is too hot so it will be nice to stay under shade and away from bushes. I got a few mosquitoe bites.

Silvia was a wonderful guide! We had a great time walking through neighborhoods we may not have experienced otherwise. I didn’t think it was as much food as other tours I’ve been on though. 4 stops- apertivo, then risotto Milanese and tortellini, then a meat market (only 1 piece of sausage, 1 piece of cheese, and 1 piece of potato is given here) and then tiramisu. A glass of wine is provided at the first 3 stops. I would still recommend this tour as a nice introduction to Milanese culture.

When visiting other countries, we find it exciting to try local foods, this tour gave us that exact opportunity in a fun and interesting way. At each stop, we got to experience something that was unique to the area in places that we may not have gone on our own. The explanations of the history of the foods/food service locations made the tour very enjoyable and the discussions about local highlights when walking between locations was an unexpected surprise. The small group setting also made it a very social event as we walked, ate, and drank together over a few hours.

Great guide. We had Sylvia and she was knowledgeable and fun. The other people in the tool were a perfect mix. We all had fun. LOTS OF FOOD. Though I wish we could have had a Gelato intend of the tiramisu for desert. 4 stops in a. Lots of walking too

This was the highlight of my trip to Milan! The tour guide, Georgia, was very knowledgeable in all things food and wine. The whole tour was well organised and conducted in an area where the locals live so it didn't feel touristy. The tour had 5 stops which ended in a cute tiramisu parlour that sold handmade tiramisu in so many flavours - classic, mango, pistachio etc. Georgia also showed us around the food market in the Naviglio area which was also really cool. I'm a food lover, especially Italian food, so this was the best day of my trip. I'd highly recommend!

What an incredibly yummy and enjoyable evening with Giorgia! She spoiled us with good wine and interesting conversation and surprises. Her preparation and desire for us 4 guests to have a wonderful evening was very appreciated! 👏🏼🤗

We only had one night in Milan before traveling to other destinations, and I'm so glad we spent it on this food tour. First of all, it brought us to a part of town we'd have never wandered to otherwise (which we will now absolutely return to upon future visits). It also allowed us to get a 'best of' Milan in a short amount of time. Our group was small and fun, and our tour guide Georgia was lovely and knowledgeable. She kept the conversation (and wine) flowing, and brought us to some wonderful restaurants, one of which we returned to for a full meal a week later before flying home. 10/10 would recommend this tour!!

The tour was very intimate. It was only my husband and I and another couple. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we left full and content. Stop 1 - Great indoor ambiance. We were served meatballs and sparking white wine to start the night. Stop 2 - We walk through a local park to end up a this restaurant. The outdoor patio was a nice contrast to the indoor setting of the first restaurant. Here we were served risotto, ravioli with additional wine. Stop 3 - This was my favorite. We stopped by a local market and bought some samples from a butcher shop that they cooked and served to us on the patio with even more wine. Stop 4 - DESSERT! We ended the night at a unique tiramisu dessert shop that was absolutely delicious. My only critic was that I wished the dessert spot was a sit down restaurant where we could have enjoyed the dessert at a table with coffee. The tiramisu shop was more of a pick up and go kind of place. All in all, I would recommend. My husband and I loved the area and enjoyed ourselves. The only thing that I think would make the tour better is starting it later in the evening when some of the places are busier. We were the only people eating at the 1st and 2nd stop which made the experience feel less authentic.
