Following pickup at your Waikiki hotel, board your minibus and meet your small tour group of 20 people or fewer and your local guide.

Travel first to Diamond Head, stopping for a photo-op at the spectacular lookout before heading to check out Halona Blowhole, where the ocean waves crash into a lava tube and spray water 50 feet (15 meters) in the air. 

Back aboard the minibus, head for Makapu’u Beach, passing beautiful Sandy Beach along the way. See Manana Island (Rabbit Island) and views of Makapu'u Point Lighthouse, then head for a secret spot at Waimanalo Beach Park. 

As you drive along the North Shore, see the famous surf beaches like Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, and Pipeline on the way to Tsue Farm, where you have the chance to purchase a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch. Options include veggie stir fry, teriyaki chicken, shrimp or pork. Cap off your traditional Hawaiian lunch experience with one of Tsue's famous shave ices (own expense). Rent a kayak or paddleboard to explore the Anahulu River during your stop here.

Stop at family-owned macadamia farm, where you get a chance to crack raw macadamia nuts, taste macadamia nut coffee and taste samples of one of Hawaii's most famous products. Leaving the farm, stop at Kualoa Point for photo ops of Mokoli'i, a basalt island in Kane'ohe Bay. Then, head further up the coast to Laie Point, where you get fantastic views of the Ko'olau Mountains in the distance. 

Travel to a site known as 'Turtle Town' for its proliferation of green sea turtles. Embark on a guided snorkeling trip to see this secluded feeding ground and its majestic residents up close. Take a quick shower at the beach park's facilities and change into dry clothes before heading to your last stop, the Dole Pineapple Plantation. Here, see where the bulk of Hawaii's famous pineapples are grown and enjoy a refreshing frozen pineapple treat before heading back to your Waikiki hotel for drop-off.

Halona Blowhole
Molten lava tubes from volcanic eruptions that occurred from Oahu’s Koko Head crater formed the natural occurrence known as the Halona Blowhole. This lava tube extends into the ocean with a very narrow opening at the top, and when the surf is just right, water pressure builds up within the lava tube and erupts through the narrow opening creating a special Hawaiian Geyser for your viewing pleasure.

The guide Kurt called prior to pick-up to ensure there were no miscommunications. He was interesting & fun bordering on too silly for my taste, but I liked him & he was a good guide. The tour was as expected except the turtle snorkeling was underwhelming because the water was murky & no other sea life. That’s why 4 stars. Generally the Island is beautiful to tour & well worth it. Lunch was better than expected & the Dole stop was forgettable. I would recommend this tour as long as one knows it’s mostly an Island look about, not a snorkeling tour.

Our tour guide Justin was amazing! His ancestors of been here on the island for years he grew up on the island. He is a wealth of knowledge so informational in a fun way! Basically the tour was circle around the island stopping in the best possible places loved snorkeling with the turtles a local fruit stand on the side of the road lunch at a local shrimp shack. Dole plantation was yummy. Diamondhead lookout was great. You just hit so much in one trip it was very fulfilling! lots of activities! Highly recommend

That’s not a bad thing because that’s what we paid for…we visited some nice picture locations and Fumi's Shrimp was a very good meal. Johnny was our tour guide and Raul was our driver…both had us laughing and were very interactive. A must if you visit here in Honolulu.

What a great way to see most of Oahu, especially if you’ve never been. I highly recommend this tour your first day on the island so that you can learn the best spots to visit. From the various lookout stops along the way, to the Dole Pineapple Plantation, to the snorkeling with the turtles, you’ll learn a lot of history of the islands well. We had a family of eight, only two of whom have never been to Oahu, and we all enjoyed it. And the best part - someone else is doing the driving!

The pickup is sketchy, you really have to nail down exactly where they will pick you up!! I mean call them the day before. The guide was fabulous, he is knowledgeable and fun. Lunch was good. All the stops are a place to see for 30 seconds and then a huge gift shop. The snorkeling was laughable….. I was bored and I’m the mom, my boys were very bored. Wasted a day, sadly.

This was a great island overview with lots of sights and ideas for longer visits. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Stops were long enough to enjoy and explore while short enough to keep your interest. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn about the island and get ideas for further exploration.

Great experience! Mike (tour guide) was fun and knowledgeable! He had to be creative because there were some roads closed due to collapsed bridges and broken water mains. He did a great job informing us and helping us have a great time. "Cousin" Harry (driver) was safe and reliable. We really enjoyed the water/swimming with the turtles. My one complaint is that they ran out of snorkel gear. We just had masks. When we kind of looked shocked at Drew, the guy handing out the masks, he didn't have the best customer service. "What? You can hold your breath, right?". Well, yes, I can, but do I want to have to come up for a breath while trying to watch a turtle? No! I don't. Luckily, we did see some turtles anyway (despite the VERY murky water). So, in the end, we were happy.
