Lots of talking-not much seeing.

Guide was lovely & quite knowledgeable but we did not see much of what she was talking about. We would walk into a room/place, she would tell us all about it but not actually show us anything- then whisked us to somewhere else. Company should get Bluetooth capable devices so that those folks with hearing aids can benefit from the commentary. I wear hearing aids & could not use the device because I need to keep my hearing aids in in order to hear around me.

A fabulous walking tour around Ile Notre Dame, taking in what can still be seen of the facade of the cathedral, then a few notable stops, including Marie Antoinette's prison and the incredibly impressive Sainte Chapelle, the stained glass of which has to be seen to be believed quite frankly. A great guide takes you around, pointing out key things as you go too.

Worth the Walking! Torture and beauty all in one tour!

Very informative and interesting tour with a knowledgeable guide. Caroline definitely knows her subjects and loves to talk about them! There is a fair amount of walking on this one and some stairs, so be aware if you struggle with either. Notes Dame is closed during restoration after the 2019 fire, but it’s very interesting to see the restoration process. The conciergie is so interesting and she had amazing stories about the courts and the executions, including that the f Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. My favorite place was St. Chapelle. The most impressive display or architectural stained glass I’ve ever seen. Luckily, we saw it on a beautiful sunny day, so the colors really shone. Caroline gave a great tutorial about the stories the windows tell. It can get hot and stuffy in the church and there is little seating. All in all, an excellent tour on a gorgeous day. Caroline was fantastic.

This is a good tour to get your feet wet in Paris and see some key sites. Our guide (forgotten her name sorry) provided so much information on Paris, history and key sites. There is a lot of history. The Conciergerie is beautiful but not set up as it would have been when Marie Antoinette was there. There are virtual really devices to show this but not part of the tour. Saint Chappel is absolutely amazing to see. A must do.

We are sorry that you missed your tour. We do pay very careful attention to our descriptions of meeting points on our vouchers, and make sure that we choose meeting points that are easy to access and easy to identify once you get there. The meeting point for this tour is on Place St Michel, which is very well connected with several metro lines and an RER line, and is very accessible and well known to all taxi drivers in France. It's very central and is easy to walk to as well. Place St Michel is a square with an enormous fountain on it, we meet right in front of the fountain to ensure that we are very easy to spot. On this tour the guide is accompanied by a coordinator to help meet and check in our guests. Both are wearing orange badges and are very clearly branded to ensure you can see them. The coordinator arrives 30 minutes before the start time of the tour, the guide 15 minutes before. We are constantly in touch via WhatsApp with our coordinators during the check in period, and 10 minutes before the tour start time they tell us which guests are missing and we call everyone to see if they need help. Our tours start on time, but the coordinator waits for a further 15 minutes for any latecomers and takes them to join the guide. We are sorry that despite all our efforts you were not able to find the tour. We do have a very flexible refund policy allowing full refunds up to 24 hours before your tour start time, but after that it's not possible for us to refund for extremely late cancellations or missed tours. We do hope you had a wonderful stay in Paris nonetheless, and that we will perhaps have the chance to welcome you on future visits.
