Pompei Ruins & Horseback riding on Vesuvius with Lunch!

First off - everyone we dealt with was fabulous. The guides, drivers, everyone - absolutely no complaint about anyone involved in this operation. I am sure it is fully my fault, but in arranging and booking this tour I did not appreciate that it is LONG. Expect 8+ hoursl For some reason in reading reviews I thought 1.5 for Pompeii, hour for horses hour for lunch done by 2ish - NO this is an 8 hour tourl We had enjoyed Pompeii - although they really should add the brothel or let people know and see and then catch up with tour as we really did expect tour to hit all the highlights and that's a pretty big miss especially for my daughter who studied in her Roman art history class and really wanted to see. The lunch was really great - seriously really delightful. But we were 4 hours in and realized we hadn't yet seen horses. The people were wonderfully accommodating in taking us back to our car as we had to scheduled covid tests to leave the following day, but we really had no clue this was such a long tour. I can't complain about any of the people, merely want to highlight for those who might also miss it in the description - plan 8 hours for this tour.

This was so incredible. Our guide in Pompeii was funny and knew her stuff! Great to see the highlights of the area. After taking the vans to the farm part, they were very accommodating and helpful with the horses. The ride was incredible! Then, after taking the vans to the winery we got a short tour and a great meal with some great wine! Would do this again!

From start to finish this trip was amazing Teresa our tour guide was the best she really made th tour fun and so worthwhile....the guys who looked after us at the horseriding tour and drove us around were the best so friendly and could not have done enough for us....and the amazing winery tour and lunch.definitely the best tour!!!!

Sophia was excellent! She made sure everything ran smoothly and was very personable! Any questions we had she was sure to answer. Highly recommend. The horses were healthy and beautiful!

We actually had our experience switched with the 2 vesuvian wineries tour. The Pompei portion was short but there was bad weather and our guide Teresa did a great job! We had a lovely time at the wineries getting to know our companions on the tour.

Highlight of our trip! Fantastic experience. My teen daughter and I traveled on a mother-daughter trip. From pickup to drop off, this almost day long tour exceeded all our expectations. It started with an engaging and highly enjoyable tour of Pompeii, followed by wine tasting and delicious lunch (with wonderful wine pairings) at a winery with windows overlooking Mt. Vesuvius and, on the other side, the island of Capri, and then a lovely hour long horse tour through a picturesque vineyard at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius. .

Each of our guides were knowledgeable and engaging. Our family got a history lesson, rode horses and had lunch/wine at a local vineyard. A very nice day and we were blessed with perfect weather We worth the price$ Enjoy

Our family spent a wonderful day in Pompei on this tour. Our guide in the ruins was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had a lovely lunch and wine tasting, and our daughter was especially delighted with the horseback ride. Note to families: everyone involved was extremely nice and great with kids. Would highly recommend!!!

I went on this tour with 2 other friends, and it was amazing! As 3 students traveling, it was great to have guides throughout the experience, and we learned so much about the history, food, and culture of Pompeii. It was really worth it for the price as well. The hosts of the tour were very accommodating ( we had some dietary restrictions and also forgot to buy a ticket until the last day! ) The day starts with a guided walking tour of the ruins of Pompeii. The guide was very knowledgeable and the group was only 4 people, so we got a more personalized tour and all of our questions answered. After, we had a short tour of the vineyard on Mt. Vesuvius by another guide who was also very knowledgeable about her field. We were given a wine tasting and served a three-course lunch that was very delicious! The horseback riding was amazing. The views are beautiful, and the guide makes it seamless for beginners. It was easy to find our first guide at the beginning of the day and we were always escorted to our next activity by friendly drivers. We were able to get to know each person who guided or drove us and they gave us great recommendations for restaurants and attractions to visit during the rest of our stay. I would highly recommend this tour for a well-rounded perspective on Pompeii!
