I was hugely impressed with the site and the work done to reveal it as far as they have. The guide, not so much. She droned on and on and on at each stop to the point that people just wandered about as their attention waned. What was needed here was short snappy and witty titbits of information rather than the full blow by blow. I'm not sure anyone would care whether a wall faced north or east and yet at every stop this was brought up. By contrast we did a Catcombs tour the day previous and the guides were right on the money in terms of how much to say and how much detail was enough. I have to admit that eventually we ditched the group and walked ahead on our own because it just got too tedious. Also no hard hat section or VR headsets as you would have believed from the promotional material

Very interesting for those who love history! However, it is not virtual (that part of the tour has been removed two years ago), it is absolutely freezing down in the archeological site. Our tour has been rebooked for another date. It doesn’t help to discover tickets priced 19€ are sold for almost 50€ by Viator. I have understanding for a fee, but making profit of 400% isn’t going to make me vote this activity “five stars”

Our most memorable part was not being sent the tickets. There was no way to contact Viator on the tour day so we had to repurchase tickets from COOP culture (luckily at half the price).
