  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
  • While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour.

  • PLEASE NOTICE: The meeting point for the 2:00 pm tour is different than the morning one! For the afternoon we meet at our office at Via Santamaura 14B, near the Museums' entrance.

Elaine, Elaine, Elaine! What an incredible tour guide Elaine is! We were running a few minutes late, but Elaine was very understanding and quickly incorporated us into the tour. Elaine smartly changed the order of our tour to start us in St. Peter's Basilica because she knew it would get crowded quickly - it made our photos come out incredibly! We then went through the Vatican museum. Elaine lives to share her passion about the history of the Vatican and Catholic church, and her passion shined through during this tour. We learned so much from Elaine about these beautiful sites, and she balances all of the facts with jokes that made the experience so much fun. Elaine's knowledge, humor, and respect for the history of these sites made this a must-do experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I booked this tour for first time and it’s very hard to find the place get there more then an hours early to get ready where they told us too but still couldn’t find finally found them and the times is over an half hour ago then we’re not on the system for touring with them so frustrated booked for 6 peoples but one couple lost the luggages couldn’t make for the tour so ending up going tour so late and the luggages we’re renting for told us to check out no later then 5:30 so in the middle of touring we have to leave and in a hurry this isn’t what I was expecting this tour was so confusing and frustrating He told us to coming back for another day for tour but our time is limited that’s the reason I was booked this tour for my time and date purposely at first he wants to refund us back but I told him it’s only four peoples now we ready need this tour !!!! So we’re ending up with another group and our time is only 1 and half hours instead of 3 hours to complete our tour if our names are on the list our tour would be perfect as I was loved it We’re all disappointed such a waste moneys

What A Life!!!! Such a wonderful day spent walking around Vatican city. My partner and I booked this listing after some pretty extensive research into the various options. We chose this one because the listing reviews screamed praises for the company. These reviews were absolutely correct. What A Life is a wonderful company hosted by an owner who very clearly cares about his company and the people that choose to tour with his guides. We were with Marcello and I cannot suggest him highly enough - a native English speaker, there was not thick accent to pick apart as we toured. He joked. He informed. He answered questions. He kept the tour light, fun, and moving. I was genuinely impressed how much he managed to shove in 3 hours and could have absolutely listened to him talk for another 3 hours, easy. It's rare I leave reviews but this experience definitely deserved all 5 of these stars. Don't go anywhere else, this is the tour you want!!

We were very late joining the tour because they changed the location of the meeting place. This added a couple of stressful running miles and an extra taxi ride. However they did wait for us and once we got arrived, the tour was wonderful. We saw many things with an amazing guide

Amazing tour with Mikela from What a life City tour

Our guide was Mikela, an art historian who had the patience of a saint. In the heat, humidity, he delivered an amazing experience and gave us snapshots of the most important parts of the tour. His knowledge of the masters was clear when he told us why so and so wore boots in a particular painting (no spoiler here). Really impressive, we were lucky to have Mikela. Even our children understood most of the tour despite the mind blogging amount of artwork and history that surround us, I highly recommend this tour with Mikela. (Sorry if I misspelled his name. He is easy to spit- very hip and Zen looking guy😀) from What a Life City Tour.

Maristella was excellent. So much to see in a short time on such a hot day! She was fluent in English which made it easier for us to learn about what we were seeing! Seeing St Peter's Basilica was a bonus! Our only complaint was how crowded it was in the museums and Sistine chapel. Thankfully masks are still mandated there or I would have felt very unsafe!
