The transfer was from Romae Travel. They never showed up. Dialed the number and there was no one that answered. Send a message through viator app and did not receive a prompt reply. Hotel I was staying at found a driver for us and the cost was cheaper.

I arrived in Rome without luggage and with delays. I paid $265.00 in advance to go from Rome airport hotel to cruise port. I needed 20 minutes but was not extended an alternative. My family of 5 was left without transportation. It is unreasonable to not expect delays and hiccups especially at Rome airport. VIATor was AWFUL!!! You took my money and did not provide a solution. In addition, the hotel mentioned the driver did not show up at all!!! I want to be reimbursed because you did not perform the service. Do not schedule them!! They are plenty of transportation services that can be paid the day if and not in advance.

your review is a CONTRADICTION, first you say that we did not want to wait, absolutely not true the driver waited 20 minutes but you still had not arrived, furthermore you say that the driver never came, as the concierge tells you. If you want I can send you a photo of the driver in front of your hotel with the date and time of your service. I believe that muddying working people is a bad thing.

We booked this two months ago to travel from our hotel to the cruise port and we prepaid it. We were ready and our front 10 minutes early to make sure we were ready. After they were 10 minutes late I started calling and got no answer. I proceeded to call the number they gave me for 20 minutes and so did our concierge. He finally showed up 20 minutes late and while he apologized and said he had a flat tire, he never called me and nobody from the company answered the phone or called me to say he would be late. The concierge from our hotel was already calling trying to arrange us a different car so we wouldn’t miss our check in time. I accept his apology and explanation but I’m not okay with not giving me a heads up which left us panicked. A simple call would have changed my feeling about this car service.

This was a good transfer. The only downside was that we had the impression that the driver had another job soon after ours. He was about 10 minutes early and was impatient that we were not quite ready. He was a good driver and the ride was smooth, though very fast.

We waited outside of our hotel 15 minutes before our scheduled ride. 6 minutes after our ride was to arrive we phoned and were told the driver would be 30 minutes late. At 30 minutes we tried to phone them and no one answered. We waited 15 more minutes and they never arrived so we took a cab because we didn’t want to miss our cruise. The company won’t refund our money! The taxi was less expensive at 125 Euro.

Our driver was friendly, professional and very helpful especially in loading and unloading all our luggage and foldable transport wheelchair. He was a careful driver and although other cars and motorcycles cut in or often didn’t stay in their lane, we always felt safe. He got us right up the luggage check in area at the pier for our cruise.

A great way to give your money away to a high priced taxi.

The driver arrived, said we had to much luggage and left us on our own to find a ride from our hotel to our cruise. We had two pc of luggage each and one carry on each. While we found a different way to get to our port, the driver's company, nor the company, Viator, would refund at least part of our fee. They came up with multiple excuses and claimed it was all our fault for having to much luggage. There was nothing on there website that covered this. I would highly recommend you state how much luggage you intend to take with you when booking in a comment section. If there is not one, do not pay them until you actually are taking in the car.
