Your evening out in Rome starts at a location near the Pantheon, where you meet your culinary guide and take a brief walk to a family-run restaurant for your memorable dining experience in the Italian capital.

When you arrive, meet the owners of the restaurant, aficionados of traditional Italian wine and cuisine, and then head down to the restaurant’s private cellar. Take in the unique ambience of the cellar, where an old Roman structure was discovered at the floor level during renovation work in the area, and take part in the Italian pre-dinner custom of an aperitivo—a cocktail or glass of wine (in this case, you receive a glass of prosecco) enjoyed with a selection of regional cheese and cured meat.

Then head back up to the elegant dining room, sitting down at your reserved table for your 3-course dinner of Roman-style dishes. Each course is paired with a fine regional wine selected by the chef and guide to enhance the flavors of both the food and vino.

At the end of your meal, your experience ends outside the Pantheon, which is romantically illuminated in the moonlight.

Good food, no wine cellar tour, not private at all

Firstly, would lkke to state that the guide, Anastasia(?), was super nice and friendly, and sweet. This was a really nice dinner but 3 things need to be noted. The restaurant is near the Pantheon but, you cannot see the Pantheon from any view. You meet behind the Pantheon and then walk another 5 minutes to the restaurant. Very misleading. Second, this restaurants wine cellar is under restoration and tours are not being offered. They literally told the guide the sexond we walked in that we werent getting half of what we paid for... how is this ok? The dinner is also not semi private. You sit in a packed restaurant with everyone else and the guide eats and drinks with you. Anastasia was super nice so it was fine but if you are expecting a quiet fine dining experience with a view of the Pantheon and a private wine cellar tour, this is not it. Dinner and food were really good.

Dear Alanna, thank you for your review anyway. As listed in the description, the Restaurant (one of the best in town) is located in the Pantheon area. This do not means that there is the view on the monument. The private cellar was under restoration that day unfortunately, but the food experience is not affected. This is a guided tasting experience, so the guide is joining the table with the guests. Cheers

Didn't live up to our expectation in any way . A bit lack luster if I'm honest - met by guide in square walked to the restaurant (restaurant not really near the pantheon) - restaurant off the beaten track a little but once inside nothing spectacular at all about it . We stumbled across nicer restaurants ourselves during our stay. We ate at a table with plenty of other diners in the restaurant so not sure what the semi private in description is about . Food ok nothing exciting at all about any of it - zuchini flower in batter/pasta with cheese & pepper then , veal and mash potatoes and a medley of 3 very small desserts each course accompanied with a small glass of wine . Not worth the money at all. We have had much better & nicer meals in other restaurants in Rome that were a lot cheaper - Booked it for a special occasion but it wasn't.
