It was so nice to have a slower pace, a coffee break, and not rush from one thing to the next. I appreciated the places selected and the information I received

Marta was tremendous, was great to see the history of both the Jewish Ghetto and the Aqueducts in person to be in awe. A fun time at the end of the trip with the canon on the hilltop. Transportation was easy, group was smaller and the entire time felt like a friend showing us around. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable (degree in archaeology) and treated us to many stops outside of just the Appian Way Aqueducts and Jewish Ghetto (I won't ruin the surprises!) Would recommend to anyone!

Melanie was a wonderful guide for a truly interesting and historic part of this trip. I almost did this on my own, but am glad I used the bus and guide to allow for more explanation. Both the Appian Way and Aqueducts are amazing architectural accomplishments, and I would have not appreciated them as much without her explanations.

Loved this tour! Small group, no crowding or waiting in lines. Able to see sites besides the run of the mill tours usually offered. Our guide was very informative as well as giving us lots of small interesting facts about each site. It was a very hot day and he was very conscientious about making sure his stops for discussion were located in shade and well timed. Would recommend this to anyone!

This tour was after spending 12 days on a cruise ship visiting some great locations with some great guides. This was more of a time filler while in Rome for 4 days. Wow one of the best tours ever. Slow paced, great locations with little to no crowds. Well worth the money and time. Marta our guide was awesome. Felt very personable. If your looking for some great info in and around Rome do it.

I think this was one of my favorite tours of the day. The Jewish Ghetto is quite small, having been mostly torn down, but it's got important history that I didn't know. Andrea spelling?? was my guide and he did a great job. Also pointed out plenty of non-Jewish history in that neighborhood. The Appian Way was the best - the first time in a week that there was some quiet - Rome's such a loud city. The Aqueducts were very amazing to see in person. The technology was impressive.

Amy was our guide and she was very informative. We didn't realize what some Jewish people went through until we walked through the Ghetto which doesn't look like a ghetto. It was very sad how they suffered. We didn't realize we were stopping by the Circo Massimo, learned from Amy about that and also were able to see across to the Palantine. Then we were off to the Appian Way and walked on the street that is over 2000 years old, very moving. Stopped for a break at the café then off to the Aqueducts and that was unbelievable. We saw things we didn't know we would and one special stop at the end which I will leave for you to find out. Very good tour.

Andrea was our marvelous tour guide. He was full of surprises so we will not give them away and spoil it. Andrea explained the history of the Appian Way and Aqueducts with entertaining detail. We walked around as he explained with deep respect the history of the Jewish Ghetto. We saved this tour for the last day and it was a perfect way to end our Rome vacation. We highly recommend this tour. It did not require hours of walking but a bus ride and mini strolls.

This tour was fantastic. It had surprises that you would never think to encounter in Rome. You start at the Teatro Marcello and hear all the history there before walking through the Jewish Ghetto. You get to walk by the Portico d'Octavia as well which was a nice bonus. Then you hop on a small bus and get taken for a few surprises... It was amazing. The Appian Way was great, enhanced by the guide who had a book with diagrams on how the roads were actually constructed. The aqueducts were stunning. The guide was very knowledgeable about their construction...she explained how the water traveled through kilometers and kilometers by a gradient being made by each successive arch being minutely lower than the next. Amazing. Very recommended tour.
