Very long and uncomfortable

Seems like a decent way to skip lines as advertised, however, as with any tour, if you have bad luck and get a guide that talks too fast or that you can’t understand, it’s really not that great. He told us about a lot of stuff in the museum but all of it was lost on me. And the worst part is how crowded it is. They allow way too many people in there at once, it was extremely uncomfortable. Also, N95 masks are required which is very bad when it’s hot. There is also a lot of walking. If you just want to see the Basilica and the Sistine Chapel do not do this tour.

Guide Lucia very good and passionate about history. We learned so much more than we would touring the Vatican city ourselves which made the cost of the tour worth it.

We had the lovely Lucia as our guide and she was so informative and knew all the tricks and top tips of how to make the most of not only the tour but also for the rest our of stay in Rome. Lucia's English was perfect and I can't recommend her and tour enough!

Only issue is we only skipped the line at the Vatican Museum. We waited in an hour long security line at St. Peter’s basilica. Our guide was very knowledgeable but she walked so fast it was hard to keep up. Also, it was so crowded that the experience was not as good as it could have been. All that said, still a must see!

Great tour of Basilica and Vatican Museum. Lots of long lines despite “skip the line” access. No line skipping for churches! Crowds were unbelievable! Worthwhile and a must see.

Too slow and detailed

I just really wanted a brief description and access to the three venues. The in-depth history lesson was just too much. While I am sure some were happy, others found it too detailed for a general visit.

The tour was very informative as the guide Roberto was very knowledgeable. What we saw on the tour was incredible and mindblowing, and a must see. The problem was the tour was so erratic and sort of a "fly by the seat of your pants". We started from behind and spent the whole tour rushing to catch up. Instead of meeting at the tour site, we met at the office of the tour organizers. We also had to wait for about 100 people to check in. Six groups all checking in at the same time. So we left the office about an hour after the planned departure. We then walked full speed to St. Peters, only to wait 45 minutes in line for a skip the line tour. We spent about 30 minutes inside the Basilica only to be herded off full speed for about a 20 minute walk up hill to the Vatican museum, where we waited 30 minutes for our guide to buy tickets. We got about 1/3 of the way through when people in the group started leaving because it had been over 3 hrs. In total we stayed 4 1/2 hrs before we left early. Over 8,000 steps total. I'm not sure why the tour was "organized " the way it was, but we should have met at the museum, and ended at St. Peters Basilica. If you take this tour you will learn a lot, and you will walk up hill very fast. Not a tour for people that need to walk slow and enjoy and a slower pace.
