This tour is more than eating food and looking at old buildings. It's about how both fusing together becomes part of each other's DNA. And it starts with a passionate guide and historian that is enthusiastic about telling these stories.

Simona was a great guide! Very engaging, full of knowledge. I don't normally eat a lot, so by the end of this tour, I was ready to burst! Lots of different foods from meats to pizza to pasta, gelato, tiramisu, espresso, plus you get your walking in, see loads of great history and architecture and meet other travelers. I'd definitely do this tour again.

I really enjoyed my experience on the trip. The map of the city made it easy to find. The tour guide was amazing. As an African American female traveling so far from home, she was understanding, very personable and knowledge but most importantly I FELT SAFE with her. She really contributed to us feeling welcomed in Roma. We are just that close to breaking cultural barriers! thanks J!

We had so much fun talking, eating, drinking, and seeing the sights I forgot to take a lot of pictures! It was one of the BEST tours we took in Rome. Our tour guide, Alexandra, was so engaging and shared her love and knowledge of the area and the food.

Wonderful food, we were so full by the end of it! We got great items to take home from the market, tried all the meats at the butcher, shared a pizza and two types of pasta - all delicious. The pasta restaurant had ancient Roman ruins in the basement that we got to visit. We also had espresso, gelato, and tiramisu! Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. She took us to many sites around the city and had such a strong understanding of the history of each one. We felt so lucky!

Excellent tour

Our guide, Liria, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. The tour was very informative, both about the city sights and the food and drinks we tasted. We visited the flower market and also food shops and cafes which we would probably not have tried on our own. We sampled many delicious foods and wines in company with a small, friendly group of people. We would highly recommend this tour and believe it was good value for money.

Maria was really wonderful! Very knowledgeable and considerate of our needs. Excellent stops. Food and drink was good. A bit too much walking for older folks. A bottle of water would have been nice.

Food glorious food. Do not eat before your tour.
Mick_C

The guide was outstanding and the food stops were very good. Do not eat before you go as there are many treats in store for you. The market area is fascinating. Would have liked to have had some of the sightseeing interspersed with the food rather than at the end. Rome was very busy but the guide kept us together very well.

Great food but tour not how described
Liz_P

The tour guide was wonderful and wonderful and the food was incredible. Just note the title of this tour is misleading. You do not go to the Spanish Steps nor do you go inside the Pantheon. This was disappointing and this needs to be clearer in the description
