Don’t waste your time, do it yourself

The tour group was disorganised and was delayed twice by one hour. We initially booked for 845, then got told and arrived for 945 to be told our tour would be 1045. Tour was ok, but not worth the money.

Better than not going, but after hours tour next time

The museum is a must see and the art is spectacular, but it's also spectacularly crowded. Maybe there's just too much to see in the time, but out tour guide was not very interesting - mostly just walking quickly through the galleries and naming the various famous paintings/sculptures. We found it a little frustrating as if you stopped to look at anything you lost the group and had to race to catch up. Next time we'd definitely book the after hours tour to have fewer people and more time to actually look at art.

I would not recommend this tour. I was looking forward to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, but became quickly overwhelmed by the number of people and how disorganized everything was. This was not a small group. And even worse, it was hard to find and keep up with the guide. Other guides held a flag so if you looked away to admire anything, you were lost immediately. I got separated by our group more than once because it was so crowded that when our guide would move our another group would move in as you were trying to leave and separate you from your own group easily. It was hard to see most of what he was talking about. You had a few inches in front of you that you could see, and anything above you. Walking was more like shuffling. Of course everyone wants to see this, but find a group and a guide service that is easier to locate. Eventually after being yelled at by a different group because I wasn’t supposed to be in their group I gave up and walked off on my own.

They rescheduled the tour claiming that it was made too last minute and then they cut out the basilica. The guide lied to us and told us that we could still go to the basilica WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PART OF THE TOUR and then it turned out that the basilica was closed! 0 stars if I could give it, want a refund!
