An amazing stomp in the Istrian countryside!

Mihael is amazingly knowledgable about the area, it's history and (of course) truffles! It was amazing to see the love and care he has for his working dogs and they were amazing to see in action! We had a great time and would definitely advise anyone to do this!

Interesting trip, very friendly dogs and host, walk through the forest and need to act quickly when dogs start to dig, otherwise they will eat the expensive white truffles :)

Excellent time truffle hunting with Mihael and his dogs. We found a large truffle at the end of our time which was a thrill. The dogs were great. Mihael explained things well and answered all our questions. Well worth the time and money.

Michael and his 3 fine dogs were a delight to watch working closely together on the hunt. A very personal sort of experience, not at all staged and commercialized. Some have reprtedly been known to plant truffles to be 'found'. Not here Meeting his family, mother Lorena and brother Mario, was a real pleasure and great lunch in a gorgeous pergola both generous and delicious. Heartily recommended

It was an outstanding adventure, and we were lucky to find both black and white truffles (thanks to Michael and his dogs)! To learn how to hunt truffles was just a part of today’s experience, then we had delicious Michelin-rate dinner al fresco in Motovun on the top of the hill. Thanks to Michael and his family, passioned and experienced truffle hunters and cooks!

The hunt for truffles in the woods of Motovun

We enjoyed a great hunt to find the truffles, even when it was off season. Great fun with the dogs in the woods (Rocco, Lila and Luna) and when we got to Motovun we received a great, with truffles enriched lunch in the cosy and ancient town. Thanks lovely family for a fantastic day!!

We loved this truffle hunt experience! We’ve been truffle hunting a couple of times before in Italy, but this was even better. It was a very private experience with just us, 4 dogs and our truffle hunter, Mihael. He made explained the process very well and answered the many, many questions we had. We found quite a few white truffles and then settled into a charming and delicious four course lunch served by a warm and welcoming hostess.
